  • Classification: Class Two (Controller and Drones)
  • Weight:
    • Average (controller) | 20 kg
    • Extremely Light (drones) | 10-50 gm (depends on the species)
  • Height:
    • Average (controller) | 50 cm (sphere shape)
    • Extremely Small (drones) | 20-100 mm (depends on the species)
  • Movement: Repulsorlift (Drones and Controller)
  • Armaments: N/A
  • Misc. Equipment:
  • Resistance: They are not combat droids, but due to the hostile environment they have a high level of protection against environmental influences.
    • Energy: Average (Controller] | Average (Drone)
    • Kinetic: Average (Controller] | Average (Drone)
    • Lightsabers: Average (Controller] | Average (Drone)

  • Controller:
    • Wide Range: Thanks to the long-range sensors in the controller, it can cover a large area and scan continuously to go to the area where these droids are most needed.
    • Adaptive: Due to the processor and memory crystal it contains, the controller is docile, able to adapt to different environmental effects to be even more efficient in the designated area.
    • Drone Storage: The controller is able to store drones like a beehive and keep them safe. In this function, it functions as a power droid and is able to charge the drones if they run out from energy.
    • Hive-mind: The controller functions as a droid controller, i.e. it can control all the drones under it. In addition, it maintains a continuous “hive consciousness” that allows all drones to receive the positions of others at the same time, so drones can move and work in a coordinated manner without disturbing each other at work.
  • Drones:
    • Terraforming: Drones are designed to be able to pollinate plants under any conditions like live bees. Thus, they are perfect for terraforming or agriculture in places where there are no live insects and beetles. In addition, they are able to transport tiny seeds from one place to another, facilitating the spread of the vegetation.
    • Like the Living: Their programming corresponds to that of a live insect / beetle. Mostly, bees are mimicked in behaviours (regardless of appearance), so they fly from plant to plant, carry on pollen, pollinate plants, transport seeds, and even produce honey inside the Controller. Note: Honey production takes place only during agricultural use, with a separate setting, this is unnecessary during terraforming.
    • Little Helpers: Thanks to their programming, they are fully compatible with insects and beetles on the planets, they are completely neutral and have the ability to help live insects as well. As they help each other’s work, they work in perfect harmony without disturbing each other thanks to the constant hive-all that the Controller maintains for them.
STRENGTHS
  • Defence: Both the Controller and the Drones are well-protected in terms of environmental impact. They are highly resistant to all such effects and remain usable in them.
  • Many Drones: A controller can control up to hundreds of drones at once. Their maximum number is 500. Note: The larger the drones, the smaller the number, since the internal capacity of the controller is finite in which it can store the drones. The number of bee-sized (20 mm) drones is 500.
WEAKNESSES
  • Non Combat: They are invented and designed for terraforming and agriculture, which is why they do not have any weapons or shields. They cannot be used for combat and have only as much protection as the material used.
  • Without Purpose: If the Controller is damaged or destroyed, the hive-mind it provides will also be lost, the drones will not receive any more instructions, they will become pointless and will not continue their task. Essentially, the entire colony becomes unusable and ceases to operate.

"No race can prosper till it learns there is as much dignity in tilling a field as in writing a poem."
- Booker T. Washington

Agriculture is the cornerstone of civilization and terraformation is the cornerstone of modern civilization. Without them, there could be no meaningful life on the planets or in the Galaxy. However, all of this could run into difficulties on a great many planets, or just drastically change the planet’s ecosystem, the daily life there. It was very important to the HPI Consortium, and thus to the Brighter Future Foundation, that these processes take place in the most natural way possible so as not to ruin the planets with it.

After long experimental phases, the engineers managed to create the best possible solution, which is not yet nanotechnology, but small enough to be in harmony with any planet, agricultural field. And these were insect / beetle-sized flying droids with one controller.

The Life Giver-series Terraforming and Agricultural Droid are designed to be able to work on any planet, in any field, to interact with the planet's living beings without upsetting the ecosystem. They can be used for terraforming and agriculture at the same time. Each colony consists of hundreds of tiny drones and a controller. They are able to pollinate flowers, plants, or just collect and transport seeds. This allows agriculture to be available in places where there are otherwise no insects or beetles for this task. Not to mention their ability to accelerate the spread of the flora.

By their design, they operate completely independently, in a hive consciousness, or hive-mind controlled by the controller. Each of these hives / colonies can cover a large area, which can speed up terraforming or increase the efficiency of agriculture.

This is why their use can be useful on any planet or area.
