Something jabbed at her foot as she moved to get off her starship.

Aria swore under her breath, leaning down to look at her ankle. There was a fairly small scar at the side of her heel, stinging and smeared with red.
Then she glanced to the side.
Realising he had hit a wall, Stabby shuffled backwards and spun around with a mechanical whir, knife pointing forwards as he went off on his way.

"Damnit, Stabby."

Perhaps a fortnight had passed since Aria's unexpected visit to Kal'Shebbol, and when she'd found herself with free time enough that she could do as she so frequently did and go planethopping, the only thing that came to mind was returning to the planet to investigate.

But she'd managed to miscalculate how much fuel she had. Not by much - she was fairly near the planet, in fact - but she'd had to land on Zonju V to refill the ship before it would be possible to reach Kal'Shebbol. She'd be delayed by only a handful of hours provided nothing interrupted her (and she knew better than to hold out hope for such a thing) and even if she was held up further she'd be on the planet by nightfall; still, the mishap did nothing for her mood.

And now, of course, she had a stab wound.

She'd landed by the canyons, on flat surface not far from a drop. Not having expected to be here, Aria hadn't bothered to read up on the planet, but she disliked the valleyed area already. The sun was just dipping past its centerpoint in the sky, bearing down on the land - much too warm - and the place had a feel to it that made Aria suspicious.

It wouldn't be long before she could take off, though. She just had to find a fuel station.

Aria looked around again warily, and started to walk.

The First Order had come to the planet of Zonju V in recent history, a few months really, but they had backed off soon after due to distance from First Order Space, and the presence of lingering Alliance forces. Yet, the Apex was quick, and stealthy enough for the Knight of Ren to smuggle himself onto the planet more or less unseen. One ship flying in, who was going to care?

For all intents and purposes the ship was a stealth vessel... Just one that was incapable of turning invisible.

What he had encountered however while being on the planet was that there were multiple swoop gangs within the canyons, mountains and had even gone on to extend in the desert caves, though they were quite far and between each other.

Still, when the Executioner looked up in the air and spotted a ship landing nearby, he rose up to his feet from his seated position. After having just found a place to rest after being followed and attacked the last several days. He had heard the ship come down, and he had seen it fly by overhead, but he only had a general idea of which direction it went in. However, he had been in that cavern, camping out for several hours - waiting to see if he had lost his tail.

There's been no sign of them for a while.

Pressed against the wall, the Executioner of Ren stepped out and into the open - he'd have to climb the side of the mountain for thirty feet if he sought to get to the top, and just as his legs tensed up, preparing to jump, a blaster bolt rang out in the canyon.

[member="Aria Vale"], the woman who was walking, in such close proximity would likely hear the sudden whine and echo it created.

She stayed a comfortable distance from the edge of the canyon as she went after the set of structures she was sure she saw further up its curve, but she very much still heard the sound of blaster fire when it shot through the drop.

Though she liked to think herself generally quite knowledgeable on the galaxy's ongoings, Aria lived simply too far away from a place such as Zonju V to educate herself if she wasn't already planning a trip there. She hadn't the first clue about the swoop gangs housed in the canyons and couldn't make the first guess why shooting of any sort was happening. It could be a robbery, it could be a war.

But it was making her very curious.

Head turned and Aria edged warily towards the precipice, trying to spot a face to assign the shot to as she peered down the canyon. The apparent fall was more than long enough to have her tensed and on guard (she could perhaps have time to call on the force to cushion her landing, but for once it was a risk she'd prefer not to take) but she was considerably near the edge by the time she stopped and crouched to get a better look.

Her gaze landed on [member="Magnus Ren"], and an eyebrow raised as she tried to determine if he was cause for suspicion. Senses said no, but senses could be wrong.
Such events were rare, of course.

She called across, cautiously intrigued. "What's - do you know what's happening?"
