Cintak Gakon took a puff of his cigar, watching the tip slowly turn bright orange, then die back down, followed by exhaled smoke. He was supposed to be meeting a promising recruit around here, but the rookie was yet to appear. That was fine, recruits were always late. Even Nick Cash, co-founder of the Crimson Exchange, was late sometimes. Normally the job would be left to a contractor, but there weren't many members of the Crimson Exchange yet, and the few that were around were busy. Nick Cash was out on a raiding run for a gang on Coruscant, and the contractors were busy on Nal Hutta, trying to expand the Crimson Exchange's influence.

The rookie was a young human male. That's all Cintak knew. The information didn't help him, because this was Nal Hutta, and there were many humans around here. He knew the boy would find him though, it was likely just a space-lane jam. Likely. "You'd better not be causing problems on my planet, boy." Cintak muttered under his breath. The planet wasn't his..yet...but it would be one day. Until then, it was basically his planet. The Crimson Exchange was very influential despite its' size. Of course, having an Imperial Star Destroyer, and a force-user helped. There would be more later, naturally.

The ambitions were grand, and perhaps foolish, yet look what the Crimson Exchange had accomplished so far. All it took was some waiting, which was what Cintak was doing now. Waiting.

A no show.

Exactly what Gakon needed.

Irritated, he decided to go to the cantina and grab a drink, perhaps even snatch up a new recruit or two.

Nothing. Not a single soul was worthy.

How wonderful.

Cintak headed back to base. Surely Nick Cash would be back, and with him, more credits.
