Skek'sus Quall rested his haunches on the padded mat that served him in lieu of a chair. His forelimbs worked not at a keypad, but a sandwich. Between mouthfuls of his lunch, Skek'sus dictated instructions to the copper-colored protocol droid that worked the humanoid-designed keypad on his behalf. On the screen, a computer generated display showed a three dimensional estimation of what his latest string of genetic code would produce.
It was really a quite impressive machine. Surrounding Skek'sus, dozens of glass tubes ran floor to ceiling in his laboratory on Ord Cestus. In each of them, a genetic experiment gestated to maturity.
Signing on with Auron Helix had allowed Skek'sus Quall to perform quite interesting work. His current line of research involved attempting to splice Ysalamiri DNA with a number of other organisms. So far, each of the resulting organisms had failed to produce the Force Nullification Bubble that the Ysalamiri was so famous for... But Skek'sus was confident that he would discover the genetic keystone eventually.
