Leoric Izes was an accomplished Imperial Acolyte who joined up with the New Imperial Order at its inception.
He strictly believed that the current nations in the Galaxy, the Sith Empire specifically, were a continued threat to peace and stability. The NIO's philosophy of peace through strength appealed to him immensely. The first boat out of Nar Shaddaa bound for its territory was taken by him. He excelled in training, was discovered to be force sensitive early on and recruited into the academy of the Imperial Knights.
The first forays against the Sith Empire were brutal, but Izes excelled yet again. It did not take long for him to earn his battlefield commendation and ascend to the rank of Imperial Knight.
After Muunilinst things... changed, subtly.
Retreating from his friends and compatriots. Mood swings. They were all attributed to the stress and trauma of the war, earning him a month long vacation. He left for Nar Shaddaa... and returned a changed man.
Diligent, able, in some ways more focused than ever.
His superiors were pleased and Knight Izes was put back into duty.
If only they knew.
