Intent: To provide an interesting way for Mandalorians to don their armor quickly and effectively in clutch moments.

Development Thread: If Necessary
Manufacturer: MandalTech partnered with Ori'ramikade RND
Model: Legacy; Paranor Beskar'gam
Affiliation: Mandalorians, specifically members of M.O.S.
Modularity: Yes; The Paranor Beskar'gam is incredibly modular. Everything from case design to integrated weapon systems is chosen and even partly designed by the wearer of the armor. Color, sigils etc. are also modular.
Production: Minor
Material:
  • Mandalorian Steel
  • Circuitry
  • Transparisteel
  • Servos
  • Integrated Jet pack/Repulsor pack

Classification: Multipurpose
Weight: 18 kg
Quality: 7.5
Special Features: The Legacy System is at its core a template for armor. As such it comes with all of the features that come standard in modern Beskar'gam. What truly makes this armor different from the standard beskar'gam is its portability when its deactivated and packed into the compact cases or packs meant to disguise the armor for covert operations.
Strengths:
  • Highly Portable
  • Secure - Locked to the individual user
  • Completely Custom
  • Lack of large armor gaps provides more protection than traditional Beskar'gam
Weaknesses:
  • Proprietary System: The armor is proprietary which means while on the battlefield you may be able to craft makeshift armor to replace broken pieces, once the fighting is over you need to special order a new part.
  • Cost: The Legacy Armor system is incredibly costly for an individual. Not only does one have to pay for the system, but also the custom armor pieces and tech that goes inside the armor like wrist mounted blasters and the like.
  • Overweight: Travel with the bag is difficult. Even though it emits false readings on luggage scanners it still is heavy for the user which makes travel with the pack or case for long distances difficult.
  • Repulsor Pack cannot be used in vacuum
  • Repulsor Pack or Jet Pack is mandatory and cannot be switched out for other tech
Description: "Always wear your armor." Armor is a staple of Mandalorian culture and life. Almost everywhere you go on Mandalore and Mandalorian worlds that have fully embraced the culture like Concord Dawn or Junction the people wear their armor. However, this was a problem for covert intelligence gathering during war time. More often than not the Ori'ramikade that were a part of M.O.S. simply wore the besakr weave clothing that was made popular by Naval Combat genius Captain Larraq. However it was deemed just as important to have a full set of armor waiting to donned at any moment. Most operatives simply took their armor with them. Unfortunately because of the bulk of modern Beskar'gam it couldn't be carried with them at all times if they needed it.

Inspired by the crusade, Mando Ori'ramikade RND specialists invented a new style of armor. Similar to what Mandalorians wore during the height of the Sith-Imperial War of 127 ABY, the armor sports large chest pieces, rounded, less angular helmets, and overlapping plates of metal designed for full coverage and mobility. While that alone may seem underwhelming, the engineers took these armor templates and divided them up into pieces that could be shapped into items common around the Galaxy such as suitcases, backpacks and briefcases that when activated methodically equip the armor to he wearer.

These suits are linked to the individual's TR-97 Military Chrono which in turn is locked via retina scan, allowing for the built in jetpack to propel itself to the watch's location on command via a complex GPS system. In the military, it is required that soldiers be able to equip their armor and be ready to fight in less than a minute. With the Paranor Beskar'gam M.O.S. operatives and other buyers could be ready in less than 20 seconds.

Similarly to all Mandalorian armor, the Legacy Beskar'gam is incredibly modular with the one restriction being the style of armor and the lack of back or shoulder mounted technologies being included with the armor. The armor does however sport several locations where weapons systems like flamethrowers or wrist rockets can be equipped. The cost of this and subsequent customization is high however and only M.O.S. Ori'ramikade and the richest Mandalorians have access to this stealthy suit of armor.

Sup, [member="Gilamar Skirata"].

For this, I'm going to ask you to provide the image and gif links / sources.

Erase the stuff at Development Thread since you're linking nothing there, or better yet, put 'If necessary.'

Hyperlink the approved company submissions at manufacturer.

I'd also like you to hyperlink the approved submission of 'Mandalorian Steel' at the materials.

Tag me once once you've done that.
