Description:

The LDYB-S1 is a small, lighter weight sentry droid made of durasteel and equipped with monitoring sensors. LDYB-S1 has no weapons or defensive systems of any type. It is merely an 'eye on the ground'. LDYB-S1 maintains constant communication with its owner via a datapad so long as the sentry is within three kilometers of holonet or personal intranet sensors. If the LDYB-S1 leaves the sensor range, it merely will store the data then upload once in range again. LDYB-S1 is a rugged unit, able to perform sentry duties in even the harshest of climates. Using its six legs independently the Ladybug Sentry can scale and climb over terrain that would hinder droids of a similar size.

LDYB-S1 units are designed to be used either alone or in conjunction with security systems.
