Lanval’s personality tends towards the bombastic. He can be rather loud and imposing, taking much space in a room. He can often come off as jolly and good humoured. When this man goes quiet, people tend to notice.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Lanval and his twin sister Nakia was born on Anzat to Cato and Sebella Bors-Cuiléin, a side branch of the Cuiléin clan. Over the course of their upbringing, Lanval witnessed his parents slowly succumbing to a feral hunger for the Soup that Anzati need to survive. Eventually, they crossed a threshold and went crazy, threatening to devolve into a lower, feral subset of the species. When they attacked fellow Anzati, they were imprisoned and later executed. [SIZE=9pt]He and his sister came to live with a main branch of the Cuiléin clan with his father's brother, Ruaidri and his wife Ameli. With his uncle and aunt them taking under their wings, he traveled with the Cuiléin clan for a while, meeting and bonding with her cousins Tristan, Lancem and Morgana.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Several hundred years later, Ruaidri and Ameli Cuiléin disappeared as an effect of the Netherworld event. The five siblings agreed to each go their own way for a short time, to find their own place in the grand scheme of things.[/SIZE]
