Byojrn was used to the hot, sweaty climate, whether he was in the desert, jungle, or any other type of climates there. It wasn't hard for him to adapt to it even when he was very young. It was just a natural thing for Ssi-Ruu. While he was used to the climate, he would never adapt to the amount of people that barge onto their planet, seeking out for something new.
For his entire life, he'd been seen as a monster. But nobody was scared of him, they were just disgusted. That didn't stop them from attacking. He'd been assaulted plenty of times. After a while, it became just a regular thing for him, and it helped develop his thick skin. As long as maintained his speed and strength, he'd make it just fine. One thing he would have to do against users of the Force is act as if he was immune to it.
But really, it was the other way around. His main weakness was the Force. If anyone found out how crucial it is to fighting him, running would be his best option. That wasn't like a Ssi-Ruu, though. Many of his own traits were unlike what Ssi-Ruu should be like. For example, Byojrn close to never used a blaster or weapon. He used his claws and teeth to fight. He always thought that was the way he should fight, and it was efficient. When he was younger, he was forced to train in this way of battle, so he almost felt relieved when he was attacked by the Sith. His entire family of about five-hundred to a thousand Ssi-Ruu had to go along with the Sith, struggling to stay alive, while Byojrn, on the other hand was still surviving, and thriving. But Byojrn felt like there would come a time where he would have to adapt to using small weapons soon. Big days may be ahead of him.
He also felt ashamed at times. He left his family behind, and he thought they were dead by now. While some of them indeed were, most of them were off in a giant starship, heading into the unknown, which was literally the worst possible to thing to do to Ssi-Ruu. This also meant that Byojrn would have to learn to surrender. He was wiser than many of his kin, or at least the small dozen that he was always with. He was made the "Alpha" of the pack, if you could call it that. Everyone even thought it was fitting that he was the brilliant gold, while they were the dull brown. Byojrn didn't want to take advantage of them, but they insisted. Still, Byojrn had big plans. He hoped to someday lead hundreds of men to victory, making allies with the best of them. But as of now, that was out of the picture as they literally had thirteen men.
Byojrn ran towards a sound leading into the Jungle, his pack following him behind.
