Description: As a ballistic vest, it's great for stopping things...at the chest. Land on your chest, you'll be hurt, but you'll be okay. Shot in the foot, leg, neck, arm, hand, head, eyeball, ears, whatever, won't stop it. It won't directly save Lancer from getting stabbed with a lightsaber, but he can take a hefty hit from a slugthrower or blaster, and get knocked on the ground instead of knocked...dead.
The plates, located on the sides of the stomach, front, and back, give him substantial coverage because Lancer isn't exactly the most bulky of men. These protect his lower torso, but only the common ballistic materials remain at the upper chest. The vest is simply a ballistic vest with durasteel plates placed under the vest.
