OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Keira Ticon
  • Affiliation: Keira Ticon
  • Model: N/A
  • Modularity: Armor systems and technologies can be upgraded outside of combat, as can attached weaponry, and once systems are listed in a thread they may not be swapped out for that duration of time.
  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Beskar, Agrinium helmet mesh faraday cage, transparisteel, HUD components, rangefinder components, thermo bodyglove, HoloNet uplink, holoprojector (underside of left wrist), comm unit, knuckle plate blade (left hand), wrist rocket (right hand), sonic dampeners, rebreather and air filtration systems, two hour air supply, crushgaunts (both hands).

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Multipurpose
  • Weight: Average (plates are forged to be of medium weight in order to afford higher mobility in combat)
  • Resistances:
- Blasters (And other plasma type weapons): High

- Kinetic: Average (there are gaps between armor plating, and severe bruising, etc.)

- Lightsabers: Average (Beskar plates are impervious, but gaps in armor are vulnerable)

- Sonic: Low (Dampeners prevent the worst of the damage, but overall the wearer is still vulnerable)

- EMP/Ion: Low (Helmet is resistant, rest of armor is not)

- Elemental: Average (Self-explanatory, nothing special in regards to elemental resistance)

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Thermoguard bodyglove allows wearer to become invisble to infrared and thermal scanners.
  • HUD allows wearer to keep up-to-date with active battlefield data, such as bioscans of self and allies, ammunition count, automated targeting assistance, etc.
  • Rangefinder allows user to target and track up to fifteen individuals at a time.
  • Sonic dampeners prevent extensive and permanent hearing damage along with disorientation, but does not prevent the full extent of sonic damage.
  • Rebreather allows for safety from airborne toxins, and allows for short-term survival in the vacuum of space, with two hours of oxygen supply.
Strengths:
  • Beskar plating provides high resistance to lightsabers, blasters and other plasma-based weaponry.
  • Thermo bodyglove allows for the user to remain undetectable to infrared and thermal scanners, allowing for ease of movement in stealth operations.
  • Weapons systems are interchangeable, allowing the user to choose which weaponry is effective for the present situation.
  • Lighter than standard beskar'gam, allowing her to retain a fairly mobile and active fighting style.
Weaknesses:
  • Vulnerable to EMP/Ion attacks anywhere but the helmet.
  • Gaps between plating are vulnerable to attack from a skilled warrior or marksman, especially due to the fact that her legs and lower half remain exposed in comparison.
  • Heavy/excessive elemental exposure can be detrimental to the wearer (ex. extreme heat can cook the user alive).
  • O2 reserves can combust under extreme heat and injure the wearer.

DESCRIPTION
Keira has been a member of the Mandalorian people for years, but never had the opportunity to forge her own personal armor despite her time spent among the people. Upon her return after a number of months, she decided it was time to remedy this and went to work creating her own suit of beskar'gam.

With her use of armor up to this point being comprised of a suit of phrik light in comparison to most, it was decided that she'd be best suited to new kit of an average weight so that she would easily adjust to the new system. Many of the systems present in her old armor were transferred over, such as the knuckle plate blade, bodyglove, and agrinium faraday cage. The rest of the components are fairly standard for most any armor, and some can be interchanged as necessary.

In all her new kit is fairly standard, but Keira didn't desire anything specialized. After her reliance on Force-imbued weaponry and gear for a large portion of her soldiering career, she desired to return to the roots of simple brutality and efficiency that her people are famed for.

In naming it Lacub'ika, or "little battering ram," it hearkens to her clan and own personal combat style.

I will say this again and again, Beskar is hard to balance because its a super material.

I think this armor is pretty acceptable at current state.
