Designed by Kyle due to his lack of skill with swords and no proper way to counter force users and sword wielding oponents in close range combat, this gauntlet is a very versatile close range weapon. Kyle can use it in various scenarios, from kill to capture missions, to destroying armored targets with the missile launcher. The gauntlets are relatively small in size and so can be hidden under long sleeved clothing to use as a surprise attack. The wrist-mounted shield generator is very useful as a defensive measure as it can block most blaster bolts and due to its nature being the same as that of a lightsaber, it can block lightsabers, and shares some of its weaknesses (eg. unable to stop slugthrowers). The sabre-proofness provided by phrik is on all parts of the gauntlet, allowing kyle to grab his oponnents lightsabre blades.
