Ilum, Crystal Caves, 11:30​

Dominic Entered the main hall of the caves, looking around seeing multiple statues and a small passage way edged into the side of the rock and ice, He could see no other way to go apart from the passage he entered through, So he concluded that this must've been the entrance referenced by that Jedi from the order. Before entering the caves he clicked on his com "Bastion, I'm going dark, see you all in a while" Once he deactivated the com, he proceeded to walk inside the opening and disappear inside the caves...​

While inside, Dom saw all manner of crystal, large, small, twinkly, dull, though as Kahlil had told him, he couldn't just pick any random crystal and walk back out, the crystals would challenge him, make him work for the rite of owning one, remembering this, he pressed onward down the cave, in search of the crystal that actually called to him.​

​

Half and hour in, and nothing, not a single hint as to where it may be, of course the caves were meant to be long, confusing and a general pain. None the less, he persevered on, that sith he met was no push over, and without a lightsaber he had almost been killed, of course he hadn't told Kahlil of the event yet.... Nor was he going to... After all, it wasn't any issue as of current, if it ever did become an issue then he would be told immediately.​

As Dominic continued forward, the cave around him began to melt, mid day was upon him, meaning he had about 3 hours to get the crystal and get out, the only thing stopping him from finding it was potentially miles of cave and a general lack of knowledge, in regards to the search....​

Ilum, Deep inside the crystal caves, 12:30​

After what felt like an eternity, Dom was presented with a three-way fork, a path leading left, one right and another that was a slight descent, Dom started considering which path would lead him to his prize, though the decision was not exactly as clear as he hoped, there was nothing that could even hint to a crystal. He pondered for a while, trying to think of anything that would symbolise the answer, then he thought back to something Kafh said during a small heart-to-heart they had a while back, during which Kafh had told Dom that meditation could help him uncover his true purpose in life, he hoped that purpose included finding that crystal....​

After sitting on the cave floor for around ten minutes with his eye closed, focusing on nothing but himself, his surroundings and the force, he found a sudden 'call', the descending path echoed with.... The hum of a song.... A song he knew... From his childhood. Dominic almost flew down the path as the hum grew louder, as he reached the bottom of the decline, he came to an incredibly large opening, on the left side, there was a massive blue Kyber crystal, and on the right an equally sized red Kyber crystal. Dom starred at both for quite some time, before moving to the centre of the opening between the two crystals, coming to podium no taller than his legs, atop which sat a small crystal pyramid, colourless, that is until, Dom walked up to it and rested his hand against the face of the pyramid......​

Ilum, Deeper inside the ice caves, 12:45​

​

The Pyramid lit up, turning a shade of blue, then to green, purple, red, yellow, white and black, it would continue to fluctuate in colours, as Dom strolled around the cavern, almost completely fixated on the giant crystals hanging from the ceilings, the pyramid stopped fluctuating and instead started to pile all the colours previously mentioned into one side of it. Dom had n't noticed it though due to his search taking over his mind, then that song started again, the hum started to echo around him, causing a sense of confusion in Dom, and causing him to slightly panic, eventually though, the sounds died down, narrowing to one place, right behind Dom, he turned slowly, half expecting a Sith to be stood there waiting to strike him down...​

But what he actually saw was more distressing to him, than the thought of having to fight one of those chits down in the caves, he turned to see his mother, stood a few inches below him, she.... looked exactly as Dom remembered, though of course that was a decade ago, so she couldn't be here. Dom raised his arms slightly to grab his mother on her upper arm, he made contact, it wasn't fake.... She was actually there... Dom broke down into tears, wrapping his arms around her​

"Mom, you're here.... But how?" He pulled himself away slightly giving her a chance to speak and to breathe​

"My child, look at you, ten long years we've been separated for." She took a deep breath as she eventually spoke again through a mound of tears. "You never caught on? Well, i guess you were quite young. I was always force sensitive, like you, and when i was killed all that time ago, my spirit was kept alive, meaning I could become a force ghost, watching over you as you grew..." Dom's mother let go of Dom and strolled with him, the light from the pyramid constantly following them as they walked, over the course of a further thirty minutes Dominic explained what happened to him since they were separated, going as far as to talk about the encounter with Vylythis. However, when he finished talking, looking back to where his mother previously was, there was a new figure stood there, this time, Kahlil stood there.....​

Dominic stood there, almost in shock from the sudden appearance of Kahlil, he didn't understand, his mother had just been standing there, and now Kahlil? How? It didn't matter, as he soon realised after Kahlil ignited his lightsaber, the blade illuminating the chamber further as the ice began to melt around the blade, Dom stepped back quickly "So, you heard that? About Vylythis?" Kahlil remained silent, taking steps toward Dom, until he was close enough to swing at Dom...​

The blade narrowly missed his face,In response, Dom attempted to force push Kahlil, however nothing happened, he simply brought the blade back up and swung again, Dom kept retreating further back until his back pressed against a wall, Kahlil pressed on, slashing toward Dom, Dom however managed to avoid the blade watching as it cut through the cave wall, Dom decided he had seen enough to understand where this was all going to lead, so while Kahlil was recovering from the swing, Dom managed to land a sucker punch to Kahlil's cheek.... He recoiled clutching his cheek in his hand, The hit clearly affecting him.... Kahlil then removed the hand from his face, revealing smoke coming from the impact site, smoke?​

The smoke began to encompass his whole body, hiding the man from Dom's vision, Dom kept walking backward until stumbling over a shard of crystal around the length of his forearm, he picked it up as the smoke began to clear, revealing that Kahlil had disappeared, instead replaced with Vylythis, Dom raised the crystal acting like it were a knife, as Vylythis opened her eyes and starred at Dom.....​

Dominic narrowed his eyes, tightening the grip around the crystal in his hand, as she ignited both her sabers. The crimson glow illuminated the room, casting a glow across her face. The Two stared intently at one another, before Vylythis began to move forward rotating the blades in her hands, Dom slowly backed away from her, using a similar trick as their first engagement, cracking the ice around their feet. Grasping all the ice shards together, he threw all he could at her, though this seemed to be of little effect, as she only continued her march.​

The shards fell against the ground, and almost began the melt back into the floor of the cave. The crystal in Dominic's hand was soon put to use, as he halted his retreat and took up a stance similar to that of Kahlil's, raising the crystal like a blade. She swung at him, narrowly missing the top of his head, Dom quickly attempted to retort, however she was too quick, dodging the swing and returning a swipe of her own. The two went back and forth for some time, until Dom finally saw an opening throwing the crystal into her leg.​

​

Again, her figure began to enclose itself in steam and clouds, Eventually diminishing to reveal the two siblings stood there, both with one saber each ignited. Vylythis threw one of her sabers to Dominic's feet, prompting him to pick it up. Holding the saber in his hand once again, the two began to circle him, in response, Dominic attempted to ignite the blade he was given, however it wouldn't spring into action. The two rushed him from either side. Dom readied himself for what was to come...​
