The Kvas Mining Corporation is a recent development within the Neona system.
The corporation was once a major mass of Mining companies located all across Neona. For the past millenia Neona has been a major source of raw materials and ore of nearly all types. This world was once populous and massively productive, however a flood turned the world into little more than a ball of mud. It was later discovered that at the bottom of Neona's oceans were heavy ore deposits. These deposits were valued within the trillions of credits and mining conglomerates quickly flocked to the planet in order to cash in on the huge raw materials that were to be purchased there. The conglomerates quickly set up shop, creating deep sea mining operations as well as shallow surface mines to gather less rare minerals.
The Kvas Mining Corporation is an effort to consolidate all Mining Conglomerates located on Neona.
This effort was found to be less difficult than originally though, with Kvas being founded as a simple holding company by Vanir Technologies. The corporation, fully funded by Alric Kuhn and Vanir, quickly began to buy up smaller mining concerns all over Neona. This process went by quickly, greedy mine owners seeing credit signs instead of thinking for the future. Although this method took a great amount of capital, it would eventually pay off in the form of increased mining capacity as the concerns were brought together. Eventually, nearly eighty percent of the mining concern on Neona were brought under the holdings of Kvas Mining Corporation.
Once these acquisitions were complete, Kvas began to expand its mining operations all across the planet. Utilizing Vanir Technologies massive Galactic Construction division Kvas began to build a massive amount of mines both on the surface, and underwater. These mines were state of the art, equipped with the newest droids, facilities, and safety measures. Each of these mines was designed to maximize efficiency while also minimizing risk. Again, this process took a massive amount of upfront capital, but as always Alric Kuhn was more than willing to put his money first, knowing that eventually he would garner a return on his investment.
The Kvas Mining Corporation has now begun to extract hundreds upon thousands of tons of Ore on a daily basis from Neona.

The Kvas Mining Corporation was founded, and fully funded by Vanir Technologies.
Vanir Technologies is one of the foremost corporations in the galaxy. Though it does not match the size of other massive Corporations like Titan Industries, Silk, or Arceneau Trade Company, Vanir Technologies does have significant capital income. The corporations standard in Fringe Sciences as well as its massive income from the Dark-Net relay systems has seen credits flowing into its corporate accounts. This, along with personal capital as well as hedge-fund investments has allowed Vanir to quickly, and efficiently expand its reach into more operations.
Kvas came about as a decision to keep the companies interests more diverse through subsidiaries. Keeping more monotonous operations away from the main corporation was a decision mostly based on image, having decided that Vanir Technologies must remain in its state of "advancement" rather than appearing to dabble in more base galactic concerns such as Mining.
Once this decision was reached, it was a simple matter of founding the Corporation and registering it with the proper authorities on Neona. From there the corporation began to use its funds, acquired form Vanir Technologies, to purchase up the hundreds of mining concerns that had split all over Neona itself. Once this was done the Kvas Mining Corporation came into itself, restructuring, rebuilding, and constructing new facilities all over Neona until the corporation was in a state ready to produce its desired materials.
