  • General behavior: Kubrae are a pack animal, relying on social bonds built up from a young age or over a long period of time. Kubrae aren't very aggressive towards other packs that roam through their territory and will sometimes form larger packs with each other for short times. Young pups easily form bonds with other pack memeber during these encounters, which is why the Arsenians found that even wild pups were easy to tame.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The first Arsenians to settle on Bretia found the Kubrae to be an intimidating canine during their first encounters. Many settlers kept their distance, as well as their livestock, from these great beasts. However, they quickly found that these canines were quite easy to tame. The Kubrae possessed a gentle nature towards those that raised them, great strength for long distance mounts and a natural instinct to guard their owners and their property. This lead many to wonder if the Kubrae weren't a native species of Bretia or if there had been a civilization on the planet before that had yet to reveal its ruins. Whatever the case, the Kubrae were quickly tamed by the Arsenians as guard dogs against even more dangerous predators that roamed the planet. Rangers and other scouts have taken to using these great canines as mounts to traverse the rugged mountains of Bretia.
