Rationale: Kuat Drive Yards remains the galaxy’s most lauded shipwright; even after its destruction, the corporation and its name bears great importance to the very ideals behind the industry. Many would kill, and many have, to gain ownership over KDY and the legacy it represents. Catalys Maijora, Executor of the Primeval Fleet, is one such person. After facing the Silver Jedi fleet in the Stygian Caldera, he realized the Sith Order’s need for a stronger, better navy——and so he intends to give it.
Learning of the corporation’s demise through contacts gained during the Primeval Fleet’s cooperative years with KDY, Catalys made a swift move for the company’s remnants. With a hardened fleet at his back, and veteran troops too, the agent secured its remains in a blitz takeover. He ousted the executives, and only kept on the most skilled individuals of their respective positions.
With a need for new engineers, a lack of facilities, and new leadership for a new faction of Sith, KDY is certainly facing an uphill battle. However; they are looking to strike at any opportunity that presents itself, and establish KDY once more as paramount in the military-industrial complex.

DESCRIPTION: Argued by many to be the most lauded shipwright in the galactic history, Kuat Drive Yards is a name that resonates with success and victory. They are empire builders. Their starships razed worlds, fell fleets, and conquered swaths of systems.
Although they began as supporters of the Republic, they became the backbone of Galactic Empires too. No matter who conquered Kuat; all realised their irreplaceable importance. Once more the ashes of war would swallow this colossus of industry, and once more doubts fill the minds of investors. So what? Kuat wasn’t built on the suits, it was forged by the mastery of engineers.
It wasn’t their credits that shadowed worlds in star destroyers——it was the designers whose plans laid out the blueprints for an indomitable war machine. Market analysts didn’t lead them into battle, it was the experienced fleet commanders whose trust was won by the incomparable quality of each starship bearing the face of the company. It won’t be them either, who brings this once giant back into the light of distant stars.
Stars whose light soon grows brighter as once more the warships of KDY descend upon worlds.
