Description: Commissioned and designed by Darth Lykos, the KTR-197, or Cruel Whisper as Lykos named it, is a rifle created for the Sith Assassins by their allies Kalor Tech. On the surface, this rifle is a rather standard slugthrower, only special in its variety of ammunition (Standard, Explosive and Armour Piercing). However, its true potential is realised in two manners.
First, the scope allows for one to zoom in, switch to thermal imaging and even lock onto and track a specific target (this feature requires a voice command while the central crosshairs are over said target) in addition to being a standard, high powered scope. Secondly, the interior of the barrel is lines with solenoids. When this feature is engaged, the solenoids will flare one after the other in a set pattern as soon as the trigger is pulled. The specific timings of these flares accelerate the slug beyond what it can normally reach and serves to deliver even more of an impact, easily piercing through all but the toughest metal plating - piercing through most armour as a result. (The process is very similar to the way a Bowcaster works.) The Solenoid Accelerator can only be used with the standard ammunition, though, as while it is standard for this design, it is different from most .338 Caliber slugs in that it has been designed to withstand the forces created by the Solenoid Accelerator.
The magazine is set on the outer left of the main body of the rifle and must be removed and replaced entirely by hand. Due to the more exotic features running in electricity and the rifle not having any EMP shielding, one EMP is enough to reduce the Cruel Whisper to just the pure basics.
