- Stealth Vehicle: Due to its suite of jamming and cloaking devices, the Armored Stalker serves as the Empire's current paramount stealth tank, capable of performing great flanking maneuvers during heavy operations without anyone noticing their approach on sensors or comm encryptions or even naked sight alone. Its Duraplast internal plating layers also keep these systems from falling victim to EMP and ION weapons and thus remain in stealthful operation.
- Powerful Main Weapon: Featuring three weapons in one, the Armored Stalker has a solution to most types of enemies, either with its long-ranged anti-vehicle ion cannon or its anti-personnel blaster cannon. Additionally, its missile launcher can be modified for varying payloads depending on the enemies present in battle. As such, it can launch standard missiles to ion missiles to even biological weapons.
- Manned Turret: In the event that there are more enemies than the Armored Stalker can clear on its own, one of the crewmembers can climb up the interior ladder to operate the rapid-fire laser turret and rain down upon their foes.
- Great Maneuverability: With its rather traditional design using tracks instead of hoverlifts or legs, the Armored Stalker has the ability to roll over most terrain, but works especially well within cities where it can crush and climb over debris, enemies, and even buildings.
- Priority Target: Once out of stealth, the Armored Stalker makes for a massive priority target to any survivors of its flanking assaults due to its weaponry and ability to quickly retreat if need be. This means that the risk of it being destroyed is higher than most stealth units.
- Slow Weaponry: Despite its power, the main weapon of the Armored Stalker is admittedly very slow compared to sister-models. This is because of its high-energy output and build-up, meaning that it takes longer to recharge and set up, giving enemies a wider margin to recover from any assaults taken from the tank.
- Glass Jaw: Tying in with its risk of being destroyed, the Armored Stalker does not resist as much damage as other tank models due to its stealth design and need for speed, as the metals used in construction were placed in thinner layers. This means that should it suffer enough damage from enemies, it can be destroyed and can be put out of commission outright if hit once with a powerful enough weapon.
The art of stealth in warfare is, to Darth Abaddon at the very least, not as utilized as it should be in the current era of Galactic history. Recognizing both this and the Empire's lack of proper stealth tanks, Abaddon set out to satiate his fleeting fancy and grant his faction with a powerful breed of armored stalkers, which incidentally is what he named them.
The first portion of the construction Abaddon decided on was the necessity for the tank to have resistances to EMP and ION weaponry so that its stealth systems, for which he had to pay an exorbitant amount of money to stockpile for the initial and future constructions, would not fail or be damaged as easily. Thus, he had the tanks' internal plating crafted out of reinforced Duraplast for resistance to said damages, all placed underneath a solid hull of a Duranium-Doonium composite. Curiously, the tanks were designed with treads that, while not exactly what one would deem stealthy, gives them greater maneuverability in enclosed areas and the ability to plow over debris, vehicles, and even enemy soldiers.
Finally, knowing that the enemies the Empire would be facing in the coming days, Abaddon ensured that the tanks were ready for adaptability and thus armed them with a powerful tri-cannon as the main weapon and a back-up manned blaster turret for increased lethality.
