BIOGRAPHY
Born on Hapes, Krius Syonis was the son of a Hapan mother, Solander, a fisherwoman, and an Epicanthix father, Tollo, an Force sensitive architect. They met on Hapes when Tollo was leading an excavation near the Fountain Palace to seek historical artefacts relating to the Sith-Imperial War. Attracted by her genetic beauty, Tollo embarked on a relationship with Solander, but his nature of work was demanding and because of this the two didn’t spend much time together. When Solander fell pregnant after 5 months, Tollo continued to split his time between work and family.
Krius was born with a disjointed family, his father away more times than present and due to the fact they weren’t married, the relationship proved strenuous at the best of times. Growing up on Hapes with his mother, Krius was soon becoming a black sheep amongst the Hapan community due to his Force sensitivity, with many of the Hapans still fell under the Anti-Jedi sentiment that arose during the reign of Ni’Korish decades ago. Torn between her son and the pressure of her people to send Krius away, she made the choice for him to go with Tollo at a young age.
Heart-breaking as this was, Solander did it to give Krius a better opportunity at living a fully nurtured life away from the danger of the Anti-Jedi sentiment, because even though Krius wasn’t a Jedi, she felt that Force Users were destined to follow that path sooner or later.
Living and exciting and fruitful life alongside his father and learning of the real adventures out in the galaxy buried under the ruins and sands of many planets, his knowledge and interest in the galaxy grew and grew, and he Force sensitivity developed at the hand of his father who simply helped him control his developing telekinesis power to the environment around him and his also mind-form. Tollos believed that you didn’t need to be Jedi to be taught the power you were born with, but simply by someone who could help you understand the potential behind it.
As he became a healthy and proud young man, Tollos and Krius returned to Hapes to visit Solander after many years of staying away from the planet. On arrival, they were all filled with emotion and joy at seeing each other and seeing the son they had raised. But it didn’t last long as the Ni’Korish witnessed the Force powers displayed by Krius and took arms to detain him and his parents.
Fuelled by anger at the way those unaware of the Force tried to dictate to him and his family what he should do, Krius used his Force power to defeat the Ni’Korish members trying to detain them, with violent results. He destroyed parts of the Hapan buildings and killed some of the members. Tollos was encouraging; Solander was horrified. Trying to persuade his mother to leave Hapes and join them away from the planet, Solander was scared by her son’s power and hesitated too long in making her choice. The Ni’Korish shot her on sight in front of Krius after witnessing the outburst, only to have Krius respond with more violence and destruction, having to have his father break him away to leave the planet before he killed them both.
Tollo and Krius locked horns on the notion of what a Force user was born to do in the weeks that followed. Tollos believed it to be a natural power, but one that should not be abused. Krius saw it as a birth right and one that would make him one of the most powerful individuals in the galaxy without anyone telling him how or why or when to use it. In a heart-breaking decision, Krius entered the mind of his father once they returned to his home planet of Panatha and sent him into a coma where he stood embarking into the spaceport, collapsing and near death. Krius regretted the decision, but didn’t shed a tear, instead taking his father’s small scavenger ship and leaving the planet to make a destiny for himself, leaving his father in the crux between life and death and hoping those on Panatha would save him.
Keeping his dark fuchsia excavation suit which helped regulate his body temperature in any climate, thanks to his father’s trade, Krius headed to the Core of the galaxy to begin his life alone. His travel would be one that would shape his devotion and fate to willing Force Users, his disregard for Jedi and Sith alike, and his pure hatred to Non-Force Users whom he swore would be the one plague he would rid the galaxy of before he could rest.
As he took it upon himself to explore the galaxy for others like him, he met a number of Force users from many different backgrounds such as Nemene Talith who was one of royal blood and young Kyra Sol who was a gifted engineer and provider of his Phrick material to be shaped into his protective helmet for when he engaged in battle.
He also crossed paths with others not so gifted with the Force, such as young Switch back on Hapes who was one of the few Non-Force users he had respect for after she attacked him violently after he toyed with her in a teasing show of power.
All those he met fuelled his intent to seek out those he could rally along to shake up the conception of Force users and lead them to be something more. This vision almost came to light in the guise of Matsu Xiangu, a naïve and eager Force user whom Krius met on Utapau in a chance encounter. From the moment they met, both of their lives would change forever.Krius and Matsu became lovers and explored the galaxy together with Krius mentoring Matsu to release her Force power and to let her follow him on his path to rid the galaxy of all oppression towards their kind, including Non-Force users.
But as they visiting various planets and found old cultures to study, Matsu began growing in power but showing her path straying from the one Krius wanted her to take. Breaking point came on the planet Skye, their final destination, where Matsu voiced her disapproval of Krius and his greater goal. He then snapped and attacked her physically and mentally, in which he himself was wounded by her rage. Planting a nightmarish vision in her head, Matsu hallucinated and mutilated her own arm in an attempt to cut if off due to the vision Krius embedded in her head as well as doubts, lies, anger and hurt.
Krius left her for dead on the planet and took to the Skye spaceport to repair his damaged ship and also tend to his wounds. He started work on the crafting of his Phrick helmet which he had learnt was a crucial defense against enemies and their attacks, his head now scarred a peppered with shrapnel from Matsu's attack. He now wears that as a reminder to never underestimate anyone, no matter what they say.
Tracking down another potential Force user, Keziah Denko, who was subject to a CIS bounty and also famed for the 'Druckenwell massacre', Krius promises her a life ahead that will benefit her with the discovery of who she really is. But when she reveals she wishes to find her Force sensitive twin children, Krius agrees to help her, but has far darker motives in mind.
With Keziah on her own twisted path of vengeance, Krius soon found she had little use for him, as did others. He had no-one; nothing to aim for and nowhere to go, his past continued to haunt him. Hiding away from the galaxy on Coruscant under rule of the One Sith, Krius became a recluse and a delusional prophet, waiting for the right time to emerge. However, he saw what true Force power could do during the nightmarish ‘Netherworld’ chaos that left the galaxy, and Krius, changed forever.
Emerging into a galaxy he felt he now knew little about, Krius returned to his home world of Hapes in nothing but makeshift Armourweave and durasteel plates, a shadow of his former self, to evaluate what went wrong, why those he trusted broke away from him and what else he can provide to the galaxy.
