Kreet "Welcome" (Republic and CIS)

One year had gone by since the discovery of Solovarna and the Soltarans inhabiting the planet itself. First contact and future communication established proved to spread better than expected among the Soltarans. The crew that discovered them had obviously sent word to thier superiors which, in turn, soon spread out among the rest of the Galactic community.

With the information given to the people of the galaxy outside their world it was decided they would take a year, a Soltaran year which was equal to 13 months, in order to learn what they could. The main thing that needed to be learned was the basic language shared among all the species. Many picked up to it better than others, especially among the Elites. Still progress was going well for the Soltarans, but the one greater question remained of what to do once they became members of the Galatic Comminuty itself.

One thing had been decided for sure, that Lyzia Hudna, the Colonial Leader to first make contact, had been given greater respect among the people for doing so. She was then elected to be the first Representative of Solovarna and the Soltarans. A great honor indeed, even more so since she was one of only three other leaders to submit for the role. As such she was now given an even greater role among the people, acting almost as "President" as was the case on other planets and among species.

With the year that passed finally came the time to make a fuller connection with the Galatic community, epseically among the Confederacy of Independant Systems, since one of the crew members of those who made contanct with the Soltarans was one himself, and the Republic which, as the Soltarans belived, was one of the major super powers in the galaxy.

Representative Lyzia Hudna stood at the landing bay of the Council Bulding established in Indagora, awaiting the arrival of those she would meet to be fully inducted into the rest of the galaxy.

(Any and all representatives and authority figures from both factions are welcome)

Yusan breathed in as he stood outside the Council Building, it was an interesting thing being away from Coruscant for once, he hadnt gotten off the planet sense the scarring experience at Ossus. But he was fine now and his mind mended, and after causing so many problems already he certainly needed to make sure not to piss off any more populaces, he had already done a great job on Nar Shadaa when he blew up the supports of an entire building and sent it plummeting down... a story for another time. For now he would enter the building and greet the representative he was meeting. He was wary though, at the moment he was alone so it was an odd experience without even having another authority figure nearby, a solo meeting it seemed with no aides or advisors, it felt like his first days in the senate again when he could say what he wanted and people enjoyed seeing beaurocrats insulted in the senate floor.

He shook his head and entered the building before heading straight to the woman that he assumed was the representative. With a full bow he remained in that position with his robes, which would closely resemble that of a dark jedi's with their black tint and style to them, he crossed both his hands behind him hidden from them within his robe. Of course he had handed over all weapons he had had on his person, but his saber stayed on his belt in the small of his back, he would never part with it. "I am honored to meet you, you are the representative no? My Name is Yusan Fenn, former Senator for Eshan and current Vice Chancellor of the Republic, but i care not for the titles so if you dont mind just use my name." @Lyzia Hudna

Viceroy Loki Heidrun arrived at the Council Building in a Government Shuttle with several heavily armed soldiers about him. He stepped out of his shuttle and into the Alien planet's light with a confident grin, in a fine suit. The soldiers filed out and took respectfully distant positions, two following the Viceroy as he strode forward.

"Ambassador." He said to @[member="Lyzia Hudna "]with a respectful bow.

"I'm Viceroy Loki Sigurd of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. It is a honor to met you and help to welcome your fine species into the galactic community."

Loki simply nodded to the Vice Chancellor.

With the representatives present Lyzia bowed and finally, speaking in the galatic basic to others aside from her own people, said "Greetings, gentlemen. Welcome to Solovarna." She turned and began walking away before stopping and saying "Oh, please follow me. Excuse me, I'm still getting used to protocol among you aliens."

Walking with them they passed through a number of offices where other Soltarans were busy working on one thing or another. Many of them were establishing communicatons with others across the planet while also trying to perfect the proper codes for using them in out space among the other species. It was difficult and easy given what information they had. What was the drawback was that they did not have as advanced technology as most others in the galaxy. In any case it was clear they wanted to learn.

"I think you'll find our people will still need some guidance once they are introduced to the Galactic Community." Lyzia commneted as they reached her office.

The large room had a desk with three chairs in front where the men could sit. An assitant came over offering a tray of drinks and snacks, the snacks being mixes of things from meat wrapped in an odd flower to intects. The tea was more erbal iven it's smell, Lyzia telling them to help themselves to as mch as they wished.

"Now then, on to busniess. I assume you know that we are as open as ever to the idea of establishing trade with your communities as well gainign some fotting in the galaxy. A number of our people are ready to go off world and begin exploring as it is. Though some questions I think need to be answered first."

Yusan nodded in thanks to the assistant and took a tea from her, experimentally tasting it for a minute while the Representative talked, his mind and expression focused on her while he listened, taking in the words before speaking. "What is it that you wish that needs be answered, im sure that my knowledge along with that of my opposite here can sate what ever question you might have for us about the nature of the galaxy beyond your home and im sure you would be satisfied about the answers we give you, do you not agree Viceroy?" Yusan crossed his hands on his lap with the tea in them, waiting for a response from either person.

"Vice Chancellor Fenn is correct, as representatives of two of the most powerful governments in the galaxy, I'm sure the either of us can answer any questions you may have." Loki said with a smile, gladly accepting the offering of tea. Both the Republic and the CIS were probably two of the most diplomatically friendly nations as well, given their track record for freeing beings.

"Very well." she said, leaning back in her chair. "To begin with, the holopads given to us that provided all information we have on your culutre gave a great abundance of information. However not all the information was completey on certian subjects. So, for starters, let's begin with these two certian groups you have. The "orders" I belive you call them, of the Sith and the Jedi. Who and what are they and do we have anything tof ear from these species?" Her tone was very to the point and yet inquisitive at the same time, clealry she showing the ecompass of the Soltaran's attitude towards the discovery of a greater galaxy around them.

Yusan tensed hearing the Sith part of the statement, but showed such for no more than a second. "The Jedi were defenders of peace and protectors of the Galaxy, they held no bias and aided all those that needed it, they taught and learned, studied and grew. Once they had been the pinnacle of peace and serenity, a group that could rise against the tides of war and avoid their roles, their Sabers were symbols not weapons..." He made sure to use the past tense when speaking on the Jedi, in recent times such was not entirely true. "The sith are their opposites, murderers, bringers of death and Genocide, Conquerors and rulers. They care little for the lives of those below them and spit on those they defeat. Power is the only thing they care about and will do anything and sacrifice anyone to obtain it. They scar and harm people, leaving them wounded for the rest of their life without even touching them. They are the epitome of chaos and evil."

Lyzia leaned back and listned as @[member="Yusan Fenn"] explained the relation between the Jedi and Sith. Nodding once he finished she said "I see. So these Sith are a tyrant race. If this is true then you should see them wiped off the face of every planet until none are left." She had almost banged her hand against the table when she said this. "But as to these Jedi, they sound as thogh they are warriors. Very elite warriors. This does interest me. So much so that I am willing to offer the best warriors this planet can offer to join among the Jedi so that we can establish even more connections with your comminity. I will even volunteer myself if need be. I always have been an eager learner."

"Most of the galaxy trusts neither group. Especially given the Jedi's conduct in the Battle of Manaan and that village they burned.... I can't rightly remember where. Personally, no offense Vice Chancellor, I can't bring myself to trust those with the potential to manipulate my environment with their mind, especially now that they're expanding. On Sith.... They ran an oppressive Empire, and the galaxy dealt with them accordingly, The Confederacy is still wiping out pockets now, largely because of our force dead warriors." Loki said before taking another sip.

"In any case I shall make sure to make that a note of interest not to align myself or my people with any factions that have the Sith in their ranks. Should any come to pass however you should both know that they will do so of their own accord and will be considered exiles from this planet and it's government for it." To show how serious she was she smalled her fist onto her desk, a sign that such actions would not be tolerated. "I will however see to it that those of us who join the Jedi are highly decorated."

@[member="Yusan Fenn"] @Loki Heidrun

"I cannot speak on the Jedi's behalf nor thank you for such respect to them, i visit and learn myself from them occasionally but i have never found them to be as they were told to be in stories of old. They are powerful warriors indeed, but it seems that is all they are these days. But i give that too much credit, there are those who push for peace and like me would like to see the Republic as it once as with war only something as a last resort." He crossed his hands and looked at the ceiling before speaking without looking down. "I think it is still my right and place to thank you on behalf of the Jedi Council and i am sure they will be grateful to have such a interesting new species in their order, forgive me if my words have any insult in them, like you i am not sure of your culture entirely myself." @Lyzia Hudna

"Part of the other reason I called you hear." she noted before standing. "Gentlemen, I belive it is time our people met in more face-to-face situation. That is why, as some hours prior to your arrival, I have been given the honor of being my planet's representative. But I belive in the case of your 'Republic', I would be granted the title of Senator. I will be the first Soltaran to be greeted to the Galactic community and the Republic and CIS governments." She spoke as though it was both an honor and yet a burden, and in a way it was since it meant a lot or work to come with it.

Loki sat silently as the Vice Chancellor and Soltaran mulled over the specifics of the Jedi. He'd never cared for them in any of their carnations, past or present. They always tended to meddle where they weren't wanted before being wiped out by one opposing force or another. Same with the Sith, a constant back and forth with no clear winner, an endless game of seesaw. Loki cared not for such things.

"Well Ambassador, simply give me a time at which you would like my superiors to meet you, and I will make the proper arrangements." Loki said with a smile.
