Description: The armor was a personally funded project that Jinn hired Santhe Technologies to undertake. It became obvious, after he joined the Sith, that he required an armor system that would have the same bracing qualities as his power belt and gauntlet. He requested that the armor be able to grant him the same abilities as a set of standard power while still giving him the necessary brace against his back and right arm that he requires because of his old injuries.
The resulting product from these requests was the Krayt-Class Power Brace Armor system. The chest plate and gauntlets are lined with high tech electrical signal disrupters as well as a field generator to keep the wearers bodies braced, even under extreme conditions. The electrical disrupters work to filter the wearer’s brainwaves, specifically the waves that control the amount of powers ones muscles can excerpt. These subconscious signals are intercepted and replaced by an artificial signal that unlocks the muscles full capabilities, giving one what could be considered superhuman strength. The armor also uses electrical signals to disrupt the nervous system slightly to lighten the amount of pain can be felt by the wearer.
While the armor does hold seemingly great benefits it can cause permanent nerve damage with prolonged use. It is also possible for the wearer to tear his/her own muscles during use because there are no longer subconscious signals to keep the muscles from overextended. The armor itself is also delicate to EMP use as it can cause dangerous shorts with the electronic signals or simple shut down the armors electronic abilities. The armor, as seen above, only covers the body partially, leaving the legs and most of the arms open for attack. The armor also runs off a power supply that must be replenished, giving it around a 16hour supply of energy when not under stress and a eight hour supply under heavy combat. Prolonged use can cause severe muscle weakness and soreness which can severely hinder ones movements during and after a combat situation.
