Strengths and Weaknesses:
+Ground Fighting: Excellent at fighting on the ground but fears starfighter combat
+Physically overpowering: Despite not being very tall, has good leverage and a low center of gravity
+Mental Fortitude: Having spent years training under B'omarr monks, he is much more resistant to mental attacks

-Untrained: Hasn't been formally trained in combat or the Force yet
-Peripheral Vision: Due to his mask, Kratos has very poor peripheral vision, having to rely on the Force instead
-Melee Only: Unwilling to use any sort of blaster, slugthrower, or ranged weapon due to his training
-Fear of Uncertainty: Despite his training as a monk, Kratos is afraid to take risks outside of combat
-Technophobic: Part of his upbringing under the monks, not ideal for a galaxy with super-advanced technology obviously
Biography:
Kratos was raised by his parents at a B'omarr monastery on Tatooine. Neither his parents nor Kratos knew what species they had originated from, the former not caring and the latter unable to find out. Kratos wore a helmet constantly to hide his face, and large robes to hide his body. Only his three-fingered hands and two-toed feet showed. Despite his parents' "enlightened" state, Kratos could never achieve true inner peace. He was a physical child, not one for contemplating life's mysteries. The monks saw it as a monastery, but he saw it as a prison. Rather than attempt to coerce the child into attempting to find enlightenment, the monks instead instructed him in combat, wanting to designate him as the monastery's guardian. A few of the monks had had extensive military training in the past and gave him guidance as he matured.
There was one difficulty with this training: the monks abhorred technology. Instead of learning to fight with blasters or lightsabers (It had been discovered that he was force sensitive but no monks were willing to train him), he was taught to fight with odd, outdated weapons. As a compromise, Kratos also followed many of the monks' practices.
Due to his quick-learning nature, Kratos eventually reached a point where he was deemed "ready for enlightenment." Unfortunately, this process involved 'shedding', or removing the brain from the ultimate distraction: the body. Kratos was unable to commit to the procedure, not willing to lose his combat training and interaction with the world. Rather than face the surgery, he fled at the age of 17
In the years afterwards, Kratos retreated to various Outer Rim worlds to hone his skills as a fighter, not a monk. His ultimate goal was not to follow in the footsteps of thousands of other warriors, but rather to become unique in his own right. He became obsessed with finding his own style of fighting, but without a master to train him he found himself lost. He was determined to fuse the disciplines and practices of the B'omarr monks with dueling with melee weapons, and adhered to may of their principles. He went on a quest to find the perfect weapon, one that would be appear ordinary to others. He attempted to use a fishing pole, a spatula, a chicken foot, and a tree branch, but he failed to form a connection with the weapons. He continued to train with the halberd, biding his time.
Eventually he determined that the only way to perfect his craft would be to first train under a master of more ordinary techniques. He had been told from an early age that he was force sensitive, but was never trained. He wanted to train under a Jedi, not a Sith. He'd heart tales from the monks of the noble, but misguided, Jedi as well as the savage and unholy Sith. Unfortunately, his solitude came with a price. He was deathly afraid of crowds, cities, and technology in general, having been exposed to nothing more advanced than the spider servants and a rickety freighter he called home.
After years of self-training on Outer Rim worlds, he decided that his lack of knowledge was his greatest limitation. Determined to learn more about the galaxy, he decided to capitalize on his force sensitivity and meet with the Silver Jedi. The Jedi teachings were very close to the B'omarr philosophies, and he imagined he could adapt quickly. He was a appointed a Master, [member="Kei Amadis"] to instruct him in some forms of basic lightsaber combat and start him on his journey in discovering himself and the Force.
