- The Galactic Republic: Senator of Trandosha
Kralossk was once a proud Trandoshan, however a lifetime of hunts and bounties - both against others and himself - has left him less of his reptilian self and more machine. A cyborg in the true sense of the word, he uses cybernetics and implants to enable himself to keep up with the rest of his kin', being that most of what biologically made him a Trandoshan is now missing or lacking in some way or another.
Unable to regenerate due to the immense damage taken overtime, and having lost true strength, the majority of his body lies in metal. With that said, all vital organs are those he was born with. He must constantly wear a respirator, and removal of this lifeline would swiftly end in his death... However, being that it is directly integrated into his armour makes removing it a difficult process indeed.
Never one to remove the armour that isn't vital, including that which covers his lower torso and cybernetic legs, unless absolutely necessary, Kralossk has at times been considered as a droid rather than a sapient being. Yet he has a natural, even primitive drive that keeps his Trandoshan heritage in check and leaves little doubt as to who he was before becoming damaged goods.
He lives by the Scorekeeper and the hunt she provides, and while his methods may seem aggressive at times Kralossk is in fact surprisingly a just individual, often going after the scum of the Galaxy rather than any bounty or job that will appease the cravings within. He also strives to better the environment around those he considers either kin' - by blood, heritage or familiarity - or ghrakhowsk.
STARSHIP
PRE-ROLEPLAY HISTORY
Born and raised on Trandosha, Kralossk was taught to hunt from a young age in the shadow of the Scorekeeper. An able hunter from the very start, even during his youth he was sent on raiding parties to Kashyyyk and felled numerous Wookiees in the process. When he came of age, Kralossk ventured off into the Galaxy and began to pick up hits - yet unlike many of his kin', Kralossk had a sense of honor and righteousness when it came to choosing his hunts.
Only the lowest of the Galaxies scum showed up on his radar, and taking them out increased not only his jagannath points but also his reputation amongst the underground criminal rings and even his people back home. While they did not necessarily understand it, they could at the same time understand his reasoning for doing so, and it earned him at least a modest amount of respect from his kin'. The criminals, however, were not quite so appreciative, as might have been expected - or even desired...
Hits were put out on the Trandoshan, and those without his moral codes took up the bounties; while many could be held off, or dealt with by other means, some were superior in strength and tactics, even going so far as to laying serious damage on him. During this period of his life, Kralossk was even captured by a swarm of bounty hunters, and irreparable damage was done to his person. Not only was this a severe physical hindrance, it also proved humiliating to the proud Trandoshan.
Upon escaping his captors, Kralossk spent several years in hiding; during this time he rebuilt not only his pride but also his body, which had been severely harmed. Limbs were replaced with cybernetics, implants added to enhance his senses, and an outer-shell mounted to his person in the form of armor. While it wasn't the strongest, it certainly did the job in protecting the vulnerable hide beneath, and it permitted Kralossk to return to the Galaxy - after adjusting to the changes in weight and maneuverability.
The biggest blow, however, was the necessity of a respirator; and Kralossk knew that if it was damaged in combat he would have just a short space of time to repair it before death would take him. Having armor designed around this flaw was crucial, and the end product fully integrated the respirator into what he referred to as the shell. The entire suit was finished in a dull matte black, giving him extra coverage in the night, with detailing on the helmet glowing orange to aid in his vision.
It was complete, and Kralossk was all but reborn. Now more metal and machine than man, given the extensive work done on his person, he was hardly a resemblance of his former self. After rebuilding his jagannath points through several anonymous bounties he came to realize that justice on such a small scale was not enough - he had to increase his work, and branch out in other means. Returning to Dosha after so long away, his appearance surprised many of his family and friends... Yet they managed to adapt, just as he had.
The next few years would be spent learning the finer details of his culture, and in turn that of the systems that surrounded them; while he overlooked the Wookiees of Kashyyyk, who were a plague even to him, Kralossk worked on forging strengthened relationships and trade to benefit his people. While at first many within and outside of his culture were resistant, with time and patience he won them over, and his continued work really aided his people.
But this was just the beginning...
Diplomatic relations with the Galactic Republic at large took up a lot of his time, yet he still savored the days he had to hunt as he once had done. Taking up the position of Senator for Trandosha, he found that by appointing others from Dosha to do a lot of the work he had previously dealt with, as ambassadors and the like - as crazy and hostile they may have seemed to outsiders - enabled him a lot more time to balance out the different aspects of his life.
He often remarks on how he spends his days as a Senator yet his evenings as a Hunter, with both parts equally integral to his person. In the end, Kralossk just wants what is best for Trandosha.
