OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: First NPC and to create an existing connection to Deryn's past as well as a sort of mentor figure in learning how to deal with himself as he technically is the only person that can heal the things Deryn cannot, in both physical and writing sense.
  • Role: Repairman of Deryn's cybernetics as well as the person whom implanted them in the first place. He is the only man that can repair them due to his rare physiology.
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: N/A
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 103, very old for a human, and still looks young due to cybernetic enhancements.
  • Force Sensitivity: Untrained Force Sensitive
  • Species: Human
  • Appearance: He does not show his age whatsoever. Of course, Korvan does appear certainly old but at best, he looks like he could be in his mid 50s, not double the amount. He has a metal arm that acts as a multitool and both of his eyes are cybernetic.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Dr. Korvan Rochell
  • Loyalties: Darkwire
  • Wealth: Upper-Middle Class though is not a heavy spender. From his current lifestyle, you wouldn't expect him of carrying money.
  • Notable Possessions: A former-Galactic Alliance Military Cybernetics Doctor, left duty with honor after many long years of service. He was given a medal of service.
  • Skills:
    • CYBERNETICS: As a master Cybernetics Doctor having worked in the profession for nearing a century, he specializes in implanting and repairing cybernetics, though the needed skills for such work does apply to various other skills, such as Engineering, Electronics, Programming, Biology, Medical Sciences, and even Fitness Sciences. He is a certified genius, which is why he was picked to be Deryn's "doctor".
  • Personality: He's an old man with a crude attitude with no patience for whining. However, he always had a soft-spot for children. He never had a child of his own, not after his wife died during his stint in the military. Korvan, however, was always willing to give for the children, particularly the disabled ones as he can bestow them gifts from their losses. It was one of the reasons why he was so fond of Deryn when he had met him. He was a monster, a killing-machine from the stories of their kind, but when he first saw him, Deryn was little more than a confused child in an adult's body.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice:
    • BSD-02 Boarded Spacecraft Defense Tactical Shotgun: A gift from Deryn when he began his shop.
    • Himself: He bears enhanced strength and speed from cybernetics on his left arm and both legs, both made of Carbon-Nanofilament Armor, Fleximetal, and and Durasteel. His skeletal structure is reinforced to the point where he could arm-wrestle with particularly strong Wookies and win without breaking any bones - his bones at least. Underneath his skin is a liquidized titanium sheath that makes his skin tougher to pierce through, requiring Very High stopping power for both Energy Weapons and Slugthrowers to pierce through in one-shot, though any level of power below will still hurt him.
  • Combat Function:
    • Combat-Doctor: He served in the military, constructing prosthesis to injured troops after a long battle so that they don't get left behind. As such, he is a rather good shot and fighter. He may lack in endurance in his older years with one of his lungs mechanized, but what he lacks in staying ability, he makes up more so in strength and speed.
Strengths:
  • Genius-Level Intellect
  • Combat Hardened
Weaknesses:
  • Lacks stamina
  • Mental swiftness and acuity is lowering with age as his body may be aging slower greatly, his mind only marginally. Though, he does state that he has only lost 20% of his Wit, and Deryn doubles in by saying he had retained all of his snark.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
He was born on a space-ship in what was now Sith Space. He never knew his father, all he had was his mother and older sister. They were scavengers, ripping out the remnants of ship battles at old abandoned ruins. Ata a young age, he learned how to slice, shoot a gun, sneak, and reverse engineer technology from eons long passed. These skills would serve him when he decided get into a Medical Academy and studied Cybernetics. He was open in his search, always thirsting for more knowledge in all spaces in his personal studies. Afterwards, he would join the army as a Cybernetics Doctor, giving injured soldiers prosthesis after battles so they can live with their injuries, even fight with them. He rose up the ranks but age and injuries started to gain on him. Cybernetics could only replace so much. He retired from the military in his 40s but still worked as a Ripperdoc in what is now Darkwire's territories. He first went there to look for his sister, who was now working a corporate desk job. Often times, he used his connections to her to get leverage on the corpos.

Then came his job with Deryn. He stared into the tank that contained the amorphous mass of muscle and nerves scattered about. He was to make him armor, graft a connection between it and him. He was paid well but he was hesitant at first. He wasn't sure how to approach a being that could rip him in two without blinking an eye, without a second thought. His race was known for their violence, and eventually, so was Deryn. But when he first talked to him, he realized that he was only a kid. Though Deryn would grow to be rather disrespectful towards him, there was still a trust between them

Hello! I will be reviewing your submission.

Great work here! Love the template and the attention to detail. There is only one thing I want to suggest before stamping this:

  • The term Ripperdoc is from Cyberpunk and as thus does not belong to the Star Wars canon. Because of this, I'd suggest you change it to something that is more conforming to Star Wars lore.
