KoR Locations

[Caid Centurion]

As it's come up several times as of late, I'm going to start subbing locations for the Knights of Ren.

There are two specifically mentioned in roleplay a thus far:

-Castrum Umbra on Dosuun (Ren HQ more or less)
-KoR Citadel on Virgillia (Main training and indoctrination facility, housing for most non-Master level Knights of Ren. Closest equivalent to a "Ren Academy")

Obviously no limit on how many locations we maintain here, and I think as we start to flesh out the purpose and role of the KoR in the First Order (I recognize this is an ongoing process that we started long ago) having actual location subs will make things easier. For new and old members alike.

If you intend to work on locations in addition to the ones posted above, feel free to reply here indicating where and what general purpose it serves. Thanks!

I participated in the thread in which Castum Umbra was rolled out, so I drafted up a location sub for it and sent it to [member="Ciardha Ren"] for him to review. I note he's LOA at the moment though, so it may be a few days before we get his view on that.

If anyone has any details of the citadel on Virgillia though, that would be good to have. I hadn't even heard of that location until recently.

Now that you mention it, [member="Absalom"], I may be conflating Vrigillia and Skye. My bad.

But consider this -- why not make a citadel on Virgillia?

I think it makes a lot of sense for the Ren to be more spread-out through FO space, yeah, to avoid a Skywalker-massacre-situation and the sort.

From my understanding Skywalker-type massacres would generally be avoided as the KoR are a more free-roaming bunch, as you said spread throughout FO space. The Citadel serves as a housing area but I wonder how much of their lives the Knights would actually spend there. I see them spending most of their time embedded with some other arm of the First Order, or on other individual assignments.

Though perhaps the Citadel does have younglings? Then Skywalker massacres would be possible, can't really spread the younglings out unless you had several academies. But then having many academies runs the risk of institutionalising the Knights too much, when they should be more secretive and free roamy?
