⌬ THE FALL ⌬
With the First Order suffering a heavy defeat at the hands of the Ssi-Ruuvi Imperium, and the consequent retreat from their defeat, the Knights of Ren were scattered with the loss of resources and immediate leadership. Sieger Ren disappeared, completely, and remains an absent mystery as Supreme Leader. The power vacuum this created caused tension and struggle between the Knights, before a small handful stepped forward and claimed collective leadership, for the betterment of the Order.Ego and pride were put aside, to preserve the Knights of Ren and bring it back from the brink of extinction...
⌬ THE REBUILDING ⌬
The Knights of Ren were in need of change. To better align with the guerilla element of the First Order remnants, the Knights of Ren came together and became more military focused. They established a simple three tier structure for the group, which allowed each member of the Order to immediately know their place and requirements. It was simple but effective.Alongside the new command structure, the Knights of Ren have also been militarized. Now working closely with the First Order armies, the Knights are able to take command of groups of stormtroopers and act in the capacity of operation commanders. The higher the Knight's rank within the Knights of Ren, the more command control and responsibility they have.
As such, with the increase in Force Using group presence throughout the galaxy, the Knights of Ren have now become a direct opposition to those same Force-centric groups who act against the First Order...
⌬ THE STRUCTURE ⌬
The structure of the Knights of Ren is as follows:⇛ Masters of Ren: These are the highest level of leadership of the Order, composed of the most powerful and loyal individuals within the Order. Like the Knights, they also serve in leading combat operations alongside First Order forces, but usually lead considerably larger forces and handle the toughest operations. From this rank, select individuals are picked to serve on the Ren Council.
⇛ Knights of Ren: These are specialist members of the Order, serving as commanders to the disciples and leading combat operations on small and large scales. Usually capable of working in a group or alone, these Knights are useful in many situations. Those with exceptional skill and ability are selected to ascend to becoming Masters of Ren.
⇛ Disciple of Ren: These are the rank and file, where most of the Order's fighting strength is composed. These members must prove their worth and ability, to show loyalty and dedication, to reach the higher ranks. From these, those with high skill and ability are selected to ascend to becoming Knights of Ren.
Within these three main tiers, there remains personal status and seniority among peers, so that Knights or Disciples who have served the Order longer and loyally are respected by new members. The focus of unity should never be forgotten.
And finally, in order to propel the Order into a new era, there remains an exclusive overall commanding position held by select Master of Ren members:
⇛ Ren Council: These are powerful and loyal Masters of Ren who have been selected by the Council to serve on the Council to lead the Order as a whole. They decide promotions, missions and direct the training of members to appropriate teachers within the Order. The Ren Council are the final authority of the Knights of Ren, and their word is law.
⌬ THE RESOURCES ⌬
The Knights of Ren is no longer limited to Force Sensitive individuals. The Disciples are a military junta, a group of willing warriors and soldiers, each trained in their personal areas to serve and fight. Whether a Disciple uses a lightsaber, Mandalorian armor or blaster weaponry, all that is important is that combatant's ability to defeat the enemy.Like the First Order, resources are scarce and limited. At least for now. Because of this, the Knights of Ren now allow any and all equipment and weaponry to be used by its members. And while Force Sensitivity isn't required to ascend the ranks, the ability to combat Force Users - and other threats - is expected, regardless of 'how'...
⌬ THE FUTURE ⌬
The Knights of Ren is dedicated to preserving and combating threats against itself and the First Order. In the absence of a Supreme Leader of the First Order, the Knights of Ren remain loyal firstly to themselves, pursuing their own goals and ends. But, as it has always been, the understanding of collaborating with the First Order is important, as both serve as different sides of the same credit chip, and the gains or losses of one affects the other.This means the Knights of Ren operates parallel to the First Order, assisting in overall support and loyalty, while still achieving their own objectives.
Should another Supreme Leader be appointed or claim power within the First Order, the Knights of Ren will decide whether to recognize that individual as their overall leadership - or whether they will continue to forge their own path, alongside their First Order brethren...
