Kiribian Basics {- Training -}

The darkness lays ever near the light.

Kiribi
851 ABY
Darren had been called to Kiribi on his first one-on-one lesson with his new master, Arisa Yune. He was still grasping the basics of the force - he had been focusing on lightsaber combat and prioritising his ranger training over all else. Quite frankly, Arisa would probably be mad at him. Alas, Darren decided it was time to finally get around to learning the basics - only because he had to.

The man had travelled to Kiribian for the first time - and he was was extremely impressed. Not particularly his cup of tea - but it was certainly impressive. Perhaps he would stay for a while after his training today - take a bit of a vacation from the rangers and running a company. After all, he could rely on other people to do those things for him.

He made his way to their agreed rendezvous point and awaited for the arrival of his Master. Darren was way too early - though he couldn't afford to be late for his session. Not today.

Arisa may have hung up her hate as the Silver Order's Grandmaster, but she was still hard at work helping in training new generations of Jedi. Teaching was something she had come to enjoy upon reaching masterhood, and a nice thing about her return to her post as Watchman was that she had much more time to do it.

Among the new group of initiates, she was teaching was Darren, the mercenary turned Ranger. Now a Jedi Padawan, as the young Zabrak had awakened his latent abilities in a most unfortunate fashion on the battlefield. She was quite honored when he chose her to be his master, especially as she had moved back to the Core.

She organized their first training session near one of the smaller settlements on Kiribi, the city of Ahvaz, a picturesque settlement set upon hilly land between several mountains. They would meet at the local spaceport, then set out on a hike through the nearby mountain range for their training.

While Darren decided to arrive incredibly early for their rendezvous, Arisa didn't rush herself during her flight from Izrul to Ahvaz, appearing just before the time she had given him. The spaceport was small, so it didn't take her too long to find Darren's ship among the rows of landing pads. She strolled on over, a big smile growing on her face as she prepared to welcome her new apprentice..

As Darren departed from his ship, he saw his Master approaching and so he took a knee.

"Greetings Master, I appreciate you meeting with me today. I must say, your homeworld is very admirable. It is extremely unique."

He took a stand oncemore, looking to his master as he did so. "So, where are we off to today?"
