Killswitch (Zandra)

[member="Zandra Tal'verda"]

It wasn't often a monster had friends.... unthinkable even compared to some and she was always interested in what a pirate queen could do for her. In this case she was hoping for a special trip to a place not many would want to go... Unthinkable monsters and horrors awaiting around each corner and in the end she was looking at the prize that could come from it... At least as far as dangerous things being valued and prized. "Zandra."

She said the name in the message with a mechanical hiss as her eyes were looking over it. She had served as her doctor and was there when she was pregnant... That might earn her some points while she was moving through names and and getting her face. "This is your old crewmate, I need some help and have the score of a lifetime. Just need someone to transport me there and oh the riches, as many as you can carry with yourself and ship."

Zax the Beautiful, the old rust bucket that served at Pirate Queen Zandras castle, glided through the inky blackness around Coruscant. Still no sign of Cal. Her husband had been missing for what was about a good year now and Zandra was... getting tired. He'd pop up for a blink of an instant in her dreams, then fade once more when she awoke. And it hurt. It only hurt. The image of him in her head did nothing to ease her worry or stifle the pain.
She ran her fingers along the tattered edge of his jacket, almost six sizes too big for her tiny frame. She kept it. She always kept it. Just like she was sure wherever he was, had he not died and went to the great lands beyond, he was holding desperately onto something of hers. ...Right? He wasn't the kinda man to run off with some other gal and leave her and the little ones stranded without a clue. He'd at least have the courage to tell her. Preferably face to face so she could beat it in for wasting her time and ruining her body.
Nah. Zandra had faith in him. If he was able, he would have at least called. Which meant something else was going on. She'd find him. Somewhere, somehow, she'd find him.

A blinking on her console got her attention when she was finished with her little trip down memory lane. A message. Ah. Her heart skipped a beat. It could be him! It might be. She hoped-

It wasn't. She closed her eyes briefly, disappointment evident on her pale face, then she wiped that look clean off, pulling on the best poker face she could.

"'Ey! 'Ey! Long time, no see, Goto! 'Say ya got a job fer me? I say I need more detail. Need a crew too? I got a few friends I could call in?"

Seras looked at the womans face and was watching her as she spoke. "We are going to Mugg Fallow, the prizes in its orbit are filled with treasures and more then you or I know. A skilled crew that can handle a flametrower is recommended as we'll need to clean some of the ships. You could make even more from collectors with them." She had a few ideas of other things that could happen with those and there were always treasures to find in the dark on a world where thousands of years worth of ships had gathered like a graveyard.

So. Scavaging. Honestly, Zandra had to admit she felt... disappointed. She expected something a little more exciting, dangerous. She liked a bit of danger. Such a pity...

"Huh... A'right," she shrugged, "I'll try n' get ahold of the boys. See if any of 'em are in'rested. I'll see ya there, nyeh?"

She turned cut off communication with her old medic, before sending a quick invite out to the fellas. Coordinates and all. With a lil extra help, maybe a boring job could be more entertaining.

Seras sent the coordinates of where to meet outside the system and away from the dead fleet in orbit. She wasn't going to risk the goo knowing they were coming though she was certain it would know they were there quickly. Problem with a sentient thing that is a hive mind... once a drop of it saw them they'd have to move quickly. She was moving towards the ship that would take her there with some of the doctors from her medical group as they stood in full bodysuit with masks on their heads. She was looking forward to seeing the woman again even if it was only to use her resources to get what she wanted.... It was a start to something warm in her heart... or that might have been the taco's she had eaten for lunch.
