Kilis
NJO Jedi Temple
Sullust

It was an early morning for the red magma planet. White smoke melded with the yellow clouds just beyond the shielded barrier's of the city. Even the sunrise seemed to bath their world in fire. This was a hot place. An alien place. A whole planet that breathed columns fire and where the very soil churned and toiled with a life of it's own. And yet. There was new life here too. Birds and seas and green plants too. How strange it's ecology was to her mind. How bitter it's evolution.

Karen Roberts of Denon stood on the surface of this world. On the roof platform of the NJO Jedi Temple. Nearer the landing pads for the local vessels. Indeed. Most of the temple was built underground to better deal with the heat and movement of the surface world. Yet up here, Karen could see the view. Breath in the new morning in the old ways. Watch the warm sun rising. Feel it's red morning light upon her face. Ahh. A warm breakfast for the soul. Dawn.

She stood with her back perfectly straight and clad in her all-black Gem's Coat. Her helm under one arm. Gazing at the rising sun when the door to the temple swished open behind her. It was Master Liam. A short Sullustian with large pursed lips.

"Nu huma yumba. Hah hah jibbs Kilis."

Karen add to remember to translate his native speech with her gift. Then she replied,

"Good morning Master Liam. Could you repeat that please. Forgive me. My mind was elsewhere."

~ "Ah. I said, grand morning to her Mastership. The lad, young Kilis, awaits you in audience. Down below." ~

Karen nodded. Straight to business then,

"Very good. Thank you Master Liam. Send him up please."

Liam nodded his understanding of her basic speech and then returned into the temple. Karen shifted her attention back to the early dawn of morning and let it's new light wash over her. Ah. It was a beautiful new day.

Perfect for new beginnings.
