KESSA "IRONBRAND"

GENERAL INFORMATION
Name: Kessa "Ironbrand"
Age: 27
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Affiliation: Void Toll Pirates
Occupation: Enforcer, Collector, Pit Fighter

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Kessa moves like a concussive blast given flesh—every motion tight with coiled force, every step balanced between control and violence. Sun-bronzed skin bears the marks of a hard life: whip scars crossing her neck, knuckle scarring from countless fights, and faint remnants of old slave markings that never fully faded.

Her cropped chestnut hair is cut for practicality, framing sharp gray eyes that track everything with predatory awareness. A cerulean iron hand brand burns bright against her left shoulder, an unmistakable mark of ownership turned symbol of survival.

She favors a tattered brown tank top stretched across muscular shoulders and a lean fighter's frame, paired with cargo pants torn at the thighs for mobility. Utility straps, ammo loops, and a heavy-duty belt complete the look, alongside battered combat boots stained with rust-colored wear and long use. Frayed wrist wraps, asymmetrical ear piercings, and grease-stained fingers give her the unmistakable look of someone who lives in motion and conflict.

Her DL-44 blaster bears heavy scorch marks from repeated use, while a vibro-knife at her hip hums softly—a constant, reassuring presence. Even at rest, her posture is tense, like a coiled spring ready to snap.

EQUIPMENT
  • DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol (heavily worn, scorch-marked)
  • Vibro-knife (well-maintained, constant carry)
  • Reinforced combat boots
  • Utility belt with ammo loops and survival tools
  • Piece-mail plastoid armor
  • Wrist wraps (light protection and grip support)

BACKGROUND
Born aboard a Zygerrian pleasure barge to a slave mother and an absent pirate father, Kessa's early life was defined by brutality and survival. She learned quickly that strength—physical or otherwise—was the only currency that mattered.

At fourteen, she was purchased by Captain Iron Hand, not for indulgence, but for the violence he saw waiting beneath the surface. Under his control, she was forged in the fighting pits of Nar Shaddaa, where pain was constant and weakness was fatal. There, she learned to weaponize every part of herself—speed, strength, instinct—until survival became second nature.

Now operating as an enforcer and collector, Kessa has carved out a reputation built on efficiency and unpredictability. She moves between contracts, crews, and conflicts with little attachment, driven more by adrenaline and opportunity than loyalty.

Yet beneath the hardened exterior remains a singular, burning ambition: to one day turn on the man who forged her, and claim his power for herself.

PERSONALITY
Kessa's presence is sharp and immediate—her laughter sudden and cutting, her attention intense and often dangerous. She thrives in high-risk environments, drawn to chaos, conflict, and the edge of control.

She is opportunistic rather than loyal, aligning herself with whoever offers the greatest challenge or reward. Trust is a tool, not a bond, and she discards it as easily as she forms it.

Cunning and perceptive, Kessa understands how to disarm others—through words, presence, or calculated manipulation. She reads weakness quickly and exploits it without hesitation.

Despite her outward confidence and relentless drive, there is a deeper current beneath it all: a need to prove that she is no one's property. Every fight, every risk, every victory is a step toward that goal.

STRENGTHS
  • Exceptional hand-to-hand combatant
  • High pain tolerance and endurance
  • Acute situational awareness
  • Skilled with close-quarters weaponry

WEAKNESSES
  • Impulsive and thrill-driven
  • Struggles with long-term loyalty
  • Prone to overcommitting in combat
  • Limited formal tactical training
