DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
Keric's armor is designed to be the latest in state of the art military technology. For this he has utilized several systems from the most respected armor suppliers on the market. The armor is naturally resistant to lightsabers by virtue of the phrik plating and armorweave. The solarium glasteel of his visor offers protection from blaster head shots and bright flashes. Within the armor, the helmet is designed to provide almost any information that the user needs. The augmented reality overlay allows a full depth of vision, letting the systems provide information without causing a disruption in depth perception. The full armor is also entirely sealed with hermetic seals keeping a stable atmosphere inside when needed. Various systems provide breathing ability in many environments, with the armor able to fully seal and rely on the primary tank, with the helmet retaining a reserve unit. The body of the armor retains several systems as well, typically focused around defensive and power systems, it also houses the primary communications array for the armor, as well as a short term flight system. The belt holds several items that are invaluable in a combat situation, including a state of the art personal shield system and a field disruptor, allowing the user to break through shields, and survive in the open long enough to find cover. On his arms are typical weapons in miniaturized form, specifically a tensor and ion beamer. Lastly, the boots are able to magnetize to most metallic surfaces, as well as house stabilizers for the short term flight system housed on the back of the torso.

Strengths:
  • Lightsaber Resistance: Can take a few direct hits, though this should still be avoided if possible
  • Blaster Resistance: Avoidance is still best
  • Slugthrower Resistance: Still don't want to get shot
  • Low EM Emissions: Thanks to the Reflec Coating
Weaknesses :
  • High Tech Armor: While somewhat protected, this armor relies heavily on electronics and is therefore susceptible to ion/emp weapons
  • Short Term Flight: The flight system on this armor is designed for short term flights rather than prolonged aerial combat. When the jetpack runs out, your feet better be on the ground
  • Training Necessary: Use of the advanced systems in this armor requires continuing training with them to be able to fully utilize them
  • No IFF: Maintaining secret identities means that you don't really want anyone knowing who you are. This can get one shot.
DESCRIPTION
Keric Dynt was not always a rowdy smuggler ostensibly allied with the Galactic Alliance. He in fact started his life's journey as a Sith Assassin, trained in combat and stealth tactics. From there, through his time within the Obsidian Order, and even through to his current identity, combat has always been part of his life. As such, he has devoted a good amount of time and money into maintaining an armor system that will help to keep him alive in a full war zone.

With the recent troubles against the First Order, especially with him being caught in the midst of a battle in the persona of his non-force using gunslinger. He was stuck in the midst of a battle with a Knight of Ren who was quite powerful in the force. Not wanting to either give up his persona, nor go toe to toe with an armored force user, Keric kept the fight in mind when he made his most recent updates to his armor (or, you know, actually subbed it).

There are several requirements for his armor. For one, he has not given up on the identity of his non-force using smuggler, so it must allow him to remain anonymous. To this end, it has to come fully sealable with at worst a one way transparent viewplate. Going one step further, he utilized some of the left over Solarium Glasteel from his upgrades on his ship to fashion a darkly tinted faceplate that gave him a maximized field of view, but allowed no peeking. Another requirement was that it had to allow for full range of motion. This is a bit troublesome when you need to keep your skin covered, so rather than being merely a set of clothing and a helmet, he traded some mobility for the phrik plating and armorweave. What he couldn't dodge, he could endure up to a point.

All in all, Keric designed, made, and maintains a suit of armor to fulfill his needs when going into full combat outside of his present persona. It allows him to remain anonymous, be slightly stealthy, and most importantly, keep him alive.
