Kelos is the Crime Lord to a criminal empire, seeded deep in the shadows of Daiyu. His title to those he leads is Grand Chieftain, and his followers are the Gnashing Palm. What Kelos seeks is to expand the realm established by his family, to honor the blood they shed to do so. As such, he has ruthlessly inserted himself into the underworld through the systematic dismantling of rivals on Daiyu. As an expert in biotechnology, Kelos seeks to create organic vessels that provide buyers with things that the galactic market will not. He hopes to use a breakthrough in understanding of Vong technology to find new means of bending others to his will. His son, Leos, is presently on the run.
