“I’ll help where I can but I know osik about land based combat vehicles.” Shev said as he looked at the holoschematic that hovered in front of him.

“They’re just like ships.” The Mandalorian said as he took off his helmet and tucked it under one arm.

“There’s no zee on land.” Shev said as he pointedly ignored the removal of the helmet and the casual way everyone here ignored the creed.

“What?" The man replied as he looked at Shev like he was going crazy. “What are you talking about, Skirata.”

“The Zee. Land bound vehicles don’t have a Zee.”

“Is this some of that new slang from the core you kids use?” The man asked, “Like ‘Givem some Zee’ or ‘Want some of this Zee’?”

Shev stood for a moment, confusion warring with revulsion that this, a fellow Mandalorian, could ever ask a person like Shev something like that.

“Zee axis on the piloting suite. Ships have an X, Y, and Z axis. Land vehicles only have an X and Y.” Shev said still a little confused, “Who even talks like that?”

“I don’t know, Holos.” The other man said.

“If you promise never to say any of those phrases again,” Shev said as he copied the schematics, “I’ll help build the biggest tank you ever saw.”

“This is the way.” The man mocked.

Your shebs are the way. Shev thought to himself.

“This is the way.” He replied.

Mig chuckled a bit, looking at the exchange as an old Magnaguard with beskar armor mounted to it followed. The mandalorian just shook his head, speaking up.

"He's not exactly wrong design wise if you're talking about a fighter tank." He responded with a smirk, while the Magnaguard, Mynock, just listened.

Shev walked out onto the work site where the beginning phases of building the superstructure of the would be ground vehicle was being assembled. He looked and cocked his helmeted head this way and that before finally admitting he had no idea what he was doing and he would be utterly useless until the later stages when it had stuff he could work on.

"Ner vod, Gred?" He said calmly as he looked at the other Mandalorian and his companion, "What do you know about tanks?"

He hooked his thumbs into his utility belt as he hoped against hope that it was a lot more than Shev knew.

Mig couldn't help but laugh a bit, pointing to the armor wearing droid. "Not as much as Mynock here, or a few of the CST engineers, but we have our own armored tactics despite the focus on starships. Mostly tracked though. The shield and armor principles are the same though. Space management too." He said, extending a hand in greeting before continuing.

Shev looked at Mig and decided that Mig was probably the smarter on of the two of them. He nodded as if he understood and then it clicked.

"You know what." He began, "Hull and shielding can easily be the same. Power consumption can be mitigated by making the reactor the same as a a corvette or frigate. We just need to increase radiation shielding so the Tank doesn't just burn everything nearby."

He pointed at the prints they had displayed and looked at hard points and field of fire.

"As much as flack cannons sound like fun we should probably stick to mass drivers and turbo lasers. We'll have to adjust the targeting systems to account for planetary curvature." He continued. "And we should do treads instead of repulsirs so we don't have to worry about stability when firing. Do you have armament ideas, ner vod?"
