STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
- Combat Master - Keita fought for his life on his homeworld ever since he could walk, and developed the guttural and carnal skills he has today. He is equally potent with his bare hands and claws as he is with most melee weapons. He has an extremely sharp eye for close up fighting, and is very limber and fast for how large he is, allowing him to not only avoid most ranged attacks, but close the distance as well. You would be hard pressed to find someone able to best him in a one on one confrontation.
- Force Eater - Keita has had a strange ability ever since he was a child and sparred against Jedi in large coliseum, gladiator-esque fights, and that was that he can smell and taste the force, instead of sensing it with a sixth sense. He can easily distinguish who can and can't use the force around him, and can "eat" force powers. This means he can take a moment and devour an outside Force attempt on him, and can hone in on that signature, allowing him to track them almost anywhere in a system.
- Giant Strength - Keita is a huge wall of muscle, even when compared to others of his large and strong species. He was born with monstrous strength, allowing him to rip metal with his bare hands and crush bones into powder even when people try to block him.
- Feline Predator - Being the apex predator that he is, Keita has greatly heightened senses, allowing him to distinguish things from great distances and hone in on certain stimuli. This has made him a fantastic tracker and bounty hunter and of course aids in his fighting.
- Iron Skin - Because of his strange ability to devour the Force, this has leaked into his body and strengthened it to great heights. He is essentially immune to poison and disease, as well as his skin and muscle being extremely hard to harm with physical weapons. Blades can't quite seem to cut deep enough on the first strike, and clups, hammers, or the like seem to just break upon him. His hands are the strongest part of his body, even able to withstand grasping a lightsaber for a brief moment without taking permanent damage. Compile that with his species' natural ability to rapidly heal when resting, some people have rumored that Keita is immortal.
- Short-Tempered - Keita is quick to anger, and once he's angry, it's hard for him to control himself. He's gotten better as he deals more and more with the Sith and others that aren't too hospitable and gentle speaking, but he still loses it sometimes, making him lose potential contacts.
- Dead Tired - When he's sleeping, he might as well be a giant rock, as there is almost nothing that can wake him, which can cause certain situations to arise. It would take a lot of killing intent to rouse his senses, and if you do that, then you will most likely lose a limb at the very least.
- Force Intolerant - Aside from the ability to devour force powers and rend them harmless, Keita doesn't quite have any proper use of the force, and can't learn to weild it in any other meaningful way.
- Over Senses - While Keita is focusing on something, too great of a stimulis will shock him, such as a loud noise deafening him for a while when he's tuned into his hearing, or powerful odors when he's tracking someone by scent can cause him to be stunned for a short while.
- Big - With how big Keita is, once someone knows of his presence, it can be hard to stay anonymous after that. Usually this means that he only has once chance to catch one of his bounties before they escape, as it's fairly easy for rumors to get around of an eight foot tall cat warrior heading a certain way.
APPEARANCE:
There is a lot you can say about Keita when you look upon him, but the first word that comes to mind is Warrior. He is massive, muscular, and carries himself with a weight and dignity of royalty. He is usually seen in robes and other garments that hide his general appearance, unless of course his on on the hunt. When he is on the hunt, he ditches most of his clothing for what it seen in the picture, and leaves everything except for his weapons and gear. He has a thick mane that resembles that of a tribe of hunters, as some are braided with pieces of small significant jewelry, while other parts of his hair flow in the wind with grace. His face is stern and powerful, and when he is angry it portrays the upmost fierceness, and sometimes even him getting simply angry will make lesser people cower in fear.
BIOGRAPHY:
Keita was born on his home planet of Cathar, the species there with the same name raised him up. Childhood is very harsh for the Cathar, as the mother only nurses them until they can fend for themselves, and then they are placed out in the wild. Until they reach adulthood, the litter that a Cathar is born to are usually alone, splitting off in the intense wilderness, fending off against large insectoid hunters while trying to find food in the form of lesser mammals, until of course they are large enough to turn the giant insects into their meals as well. Keita was only slightly different, as he was bigger than his brothers and sisters, and while most would think this is a good thing, it is not in the harsh environment of Cathar. A larger infant means a bigger meal for most predators, as they think a young Cathar is easy pickings. The young Keita had to fight twice as hard and three times as often as his siblings, but this granted him with growing at a rapid rate and becoming a skilled survivor and tracker.
Keita wasn't sure when he got his gift of eating the force, but he assumed he was born with it, as the first jedi he had encountered was one of his own race. The jedi attempted to make a fool of Keita because of his size, and because Keita started it, stating that he could easily fell a jedi if he wanted to, and thus he learned that the Force tasted delicious, like the sweet warm blood of the universe. He enjoyed it, and so he decided to challenge as many jedi on his planet and in the system as he could as he came of age. Tales of him spread far and wide, although people assumed he was simply Force intolerant and could withstand the force of the jedi. Soon he was fighting in huge coliseums, until the jedi decided he was too dangerous to let live.
Advancing far too quickly was apparently illegal to some jedi, and so they started hunting him, and he slayed a few of them, before being exiled from his own planet for fear that he might start a war there. Keita got a kick out of that, being able to singlehandedly start a war seemed like a great accomplishment. However, the jedi had wronged him, and he was already an angry enough person as it were, so he started trying to hunt them. As this became a regular thing, he decided to make money off of it and started branching out on who he hunted, and so he became a formal bounty hunter. He was mostly working for the less good aligned people of the galaxy, but he sometimes caught siths as well, although they usually were ones that fled from or betrayed their masters. Soon he had his own ship he could use to be a solo bounty hunter, unaligned with anyone... true freedom.
