Appearance: The Tregessar family has practiced gene manipulation for centuries, and Katharine is classic example of success in that venture. She possess striking good looks, with the stern bearing and military appearance common to Tregessars. Her hair is a dirty blonde, kept neat in a military manner. She stands 5'8'' tall and weighs around 120 lbs, a product of her daily exercise regime.
Personality: Growing up in an aristocratic family has left her impeccable manners and respect for etiquette, but her time in the military has given her a good idea for more common concerns. In other words, she follows the general Tregessar trend in dealing with others. Compared to her brother, Katharine is far more personable, but still possess the characteristic Tregessar aloofness and sense of majesty. She is generally level-headed and calm, but prone to fits of anger if things don't go her way (though nothing on the level of Cyrus' rage or Simon's infamous tantrums).. All in all, she's by far the most mentally stable member of the family, and an easy choice for its public face.
Weapon of Choice: A keen strategic mind (runs in the family) along with sharply honed business sense, and all the might and resources of House Tregessar.
Wealth: House Tregessar is one of the leading families of Axxila, and possess a generous amount of wealth even after their expenditures to create Shadowline.
Combat Function: Like every scion of House Tregessar, Katharine had extensive military training, and served for around 12 years. On a personal level, she is a crack shot (way better than her brother) but if forced into a combat situation she'd most likely be acting as a commander. Above all else, she's more like to try and extricate herself from any violent situation than fight it out. This should not be confused with cowardice, as she's generally unflappable (another family trait), simply a matter of expedience.
Skills: Advanced tactical and strategic training and knowledge. A very good grasp of business and management.

Other Notes:
Third child of the Lord Tregessar, Katharine always figured she was going to serve her time with the Imperial Navy, marry some other officer, retire at a young age spend the rest of her life in the vicious aristocratic politics of Axxila. In other words, with two older brothers there wasn't much hope for her to inherit the family and make a difference. Then her eldest brother died under mysterious circumstances and the second deserted title, family, and obligation to make a name for himself fighting across the galaxy.
So suddenly Katharine was heiress, and left with a despondent father and a house struggling to maintain its relevance in a rapidly changing galaxy. Katharine's reaction was to act swiftly and decisively, in a manner worthy of the Tregessar name. Using corporate law as her shield (and with the approval and backing of her mother), she effectively annexed the house from her father and recreated it as a company. Then she reached out to her surviving brother, seeking his influence to help maintain their prestige.
The end result was the creation of the Mercenary Company “Shadowline.” As CEO, Katharine manages the company and is generally totally absorbed in its maintenance. She does take time off to go shooting now and then, but is otherwise almost always on Axxila
