Description: The Katan Dueling Ring is quite a large location, seating over 1,025 people! This structure is mainly filled up with the actual Ring itself, while the rest is taken up by seating, refreshments, and betting stands. The Ring's owner, Jai Katan, chose to allow death matches at his ring, despite the mess it causes. His room, located above the ring, is basically a small house, with transparisteel floors, to view what's happening in his Ring below.
History: it used to be a marketplace. Before that, it was a theatre. Jai won the place in a sabacc game once on Nar Shadaa. It once housed a Hurt crime lord, but it is unknown what this Hutt's name was. It also was visited many times by bounty hunters, as it was a common hideout for people with bounties on their heads.
Intent: to give players a place to fight, while still remaining civilized. (And, a place for Jai to collect credits!)
