Kashyyyk Survival Guide (Open training)

The Jin jedi master stood there, her eyes roving over the bounty of it all.. food... cubes, jello, flowers, sweet cakes, a dozen different drinks from sweet and sticky to smooth teas. Caf, thala siren and bantha milks, freshly squeezed juices. She had an idea for a class and they could start here as she had been working with it and everythign they were able to find within the area. from crops, to flowers, berries, roots, some leaves. THe wookiee's were skilled with many things.

"Alright we are ready." She said it and was looking at Akari who was her taste tester, her own padawan as the small girl got to sit there and help in some cases. Mostly she made a mess but it was to be expected when Wu spoke to her wiping some of the freshly pressed jam where they had worked on it. She held a finger up and licked it. "Hmmm strawberries is good." She smiled looking at the girl but had this class open for anyone to come and join them. She would teach them what to look for but then what else they could do with the contents of their small rucksack.

THe jedi master herself though stood there and despite her short stature she filled up the kitchen, black robes with no sleeves that trailed past her ankles and to formed black pants with padding so she can be around outside rummaging around. Thick soled boots with no laces but the small internal computer squeezed them to fit the small feet and make it comfortable. Lightly golden skin gleaming pale in the soft light, black hair down her back to her waist and bare arms showing the barest definition of muscle.

Wu offered a small smile but the silver scarf and sash around her waist gave her some color before the small sacks she had. A thigh one full of some edible plants, a small container that could keep berries and there was a knife with spool of string to make snare traps before she was moving. "COme on Akari, lets see who might show up. We could have some fun with them as we go around." She tussled her hair and had a drink for her.

knew he wouldn't be in a kitchen for most of his life cooking food but he still thought he could get useful information from the people teaching this class. He knew the there was a possibly of him having to fend for himself in a distance planet and he rather spend the time he has now focusing on knowing what to do when the times comes than doing something else. Walking into the area, Jasper examines the place realizing he the first one to be here. Walking toward a chair that near the front of the class Jasper sits down.

He looks over to the woman in the room and asks a question, " What are you plan on teaching in this class?"

Wu looked at somepone joined and she offered a smile looking at the padawan. The small jedi master remained there when she thought about the question. "I am going to teach you how to cook or at least how to make the ration cubes we have taste edible. You can do a lot with them and Sasori has worked to provide the jedi and rangers with food cubes and rations that can when given enough water properly feed entire squads for operations. I'll also be teaching you around the rest some of the plants, barks, small animals you can get in case of problems."

Jasper paid close attention to the woman as he listened to her and made mental notes on what she said. He was glad to know that she would be teaching him how to know which plants and bark are good to eat and which animals are edible. Even if he didn't like the idea of eating animals the way one does when trying to survive, he didn't want to let that stop him from learning how to do it.

"I see." Was his response to the teacher's details on her class. " How much do plan on teaching about the plants, bark, and animals in this class?" " He asked.

"As much as possible." SHe said it looking at him and seeing if anyone else would be coming. Where she was looking at it though the jedi master presented some of the food and flowers. "We'll start with these, they are simple and grow around the silver rest. In a pinch they can be eaten but won't last long after you pluck them. THe wookiee's cultivate them for some of their hunters and as a means to eat on the go between villages ot wherever they need to go."

Jasper gave a quick nod to the woman in front of him. Satisfied at the answer to what he heard at her first answer to him. He wanted to know everything that would help him when he is out in the world. He has never been to any other planets in his life yet alone systems and galaxies, he knew that and he also knew that there was a real possibility of him being involved in the dangers of the world he knew little about.

Glancing over to the foods and flowers, he examined them and asked: "What typed of flowers are these here?" He said pointing to the flowers that Wu showed. "How exactly long do they last after you pucked them?"

She looked at him and thought about it. "After you pluck them they will last about thirty minutes before they start to wilt and aren't as good but it isn't going to turn and become dangerous to eat just sort of like eating a leaf... sure you have something to chew on but nothing is going to come from it." She said it and was looking at a few others. Holding some roots up. "THese roots usualy have grubs around them which can be used as a source fo protein and you can crush the bulps which have a sort of cocoa powder to flavor them."

Jasper nodded slowly in response to Wu Yeoh information. He turned around to check if any students happened to have walked in and take a seat but found no one. He wondered if anyone care about this class or some possible reason to why no one has appeared yet. Still, he wasn't going to let this chance at making this class session an impromptu private tutoring for himself. At least until someone self didn't show up ready to learn.

Despite this, he felt that needed to ask this question: "Are you going to cancel this class if nobody comes into this classroom?" He asked, " I would understand. No point in letting the food go to waste."

"Well I could but ah well... a class is a class and if it is one on one it just means you can have more attention for the learning process now doesn't it." She said it with a grin and had the food while she was looking at him. "So eat and ask your questions we have more then enough time when the moment comes." She sat down at the small table and was holding up the food, made from rations as it was talked about. With common seasoning that came from it to add some flavor.
