BIOGRAPHY:
Born on the planet of Toydarian in the Mid Rim of the galaxy, Karasto was born to a father who worked as a servant to the current king of Toydaria. The king was a kind man who developed relationships with those that served him. Despite never meeting him in person, Karasto developed an interest in politics from the king and aspired to be like him. For most of his younger life, he would study history and listen to speeches in hopes of building up enough knowledge
Midway through his teenage years, he was diagnosed with a growing disorder that primarily affected his wings. However, his body would still grow, causing issues with flight that Toydarians relied on for transportation. Karasto would suffer because of this, with the environment of Toydaria mostly requiring flight. However, these inabilities developed into a positive aspect of a kind and understanding personality within Karasto.
Despite his aspirations to join the political scene, military needs arrived to Toydaria, prompting Karasto to join the armed forces as a patriotic act for Toydaria. Even with the harsh circumstances of war, he enjoyed the feeling of fighting for the purpose of a better future. If he couldn’t join the political scene, then a more physical role was good enough. Despite his eventual efficiency with a blaster rifle, he never wished for any leadership roles within a squad, fearful of being the one to cause the failure of a mission.
Throughout the years of the war, the Toydarian developed relations with his fellow soldiers, feeling a sense of belonging and equality. However, Karasto would only suffer from this due to witnessing his brothers act as cannon fodder on the battlefield. He often stayed awake at night, wondering how different things would be if he stayed back at home, continuing to engage in philosophy and politics. In the end, he would throw away these thoughts after understanding the sacrifices of war to secure a better future.
Arriving back home to Toydaria after the war, he no longer felt any desire to act within politics. Wartime opened Karasto’s eyes, making him believe that his purpose in the galaxy was far from politics. It was no secret that rising powers everyday fought for control over the Galaxy; whether they were light, dark, or even neutral. It was time to try to make a difference in at least someone's life.
