ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

Force Powers - Learned from a holocron he retrieved from a wreck his crew discovered, he's become moderately proficient in the basic applications of the core powers, as well as beginning to explore his aptitude for tutaminis and alter environment.
Pilot/Mechanic - As a member of a spacer crew, he's become familiar with the basics of piloting and maintaining a variety of ships with moderate proficiency, though due to his tendency to focus on the teachings his holocron has to offer, these skills are not as advanced as they could be.
Fighter - He's had some martial arts and combat training throughout his life, and since obtaining his holocron he's begun to incorporate its teachings into his repertoire of combat-related skills.


STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Strengths:
Intuitive Aptitude - Simply put, Kano learns things quickly and can retain learned information with impressive clarity.
Physical Powerhouse - Despite being born off-world and thus lacking the distinctly imposing stature of most of his race, Kano still possesses a degree of their renowned strength, putting him in the same tier as a wookiee warrior. His body is also more resistant to impact damage than a human, thanks to the increased density of his bones and tissues.
Tutaminis/Alter Environment - While he may have more trouble than most performing the more impressive feats of telekinesis, telepathy, and speed using his own energies, he does have an innate connection and ability to manipulate the energy in the world around himself, whether it be directed at him specifically or occuring naturally in the environment.

Weaknesses:
Tissue Density - The main downside to his heritage is that he's a terrible swimmer, and quickly becomes exhausted when trying to remain afloat.
Low Power - Despite being a promising force sensitive, Kano's midichlorian count (or power level, if you prefer) is lower than that of the average force user, requiring him to make up the difference in creativity, determination, and training.


APPEARANCE:
While still considered tall by most species standards, Kano was always the runt of the litter at nearly a full foot shorter than most of his brothers, and lacking the imposing musculature his people are known for. By contrast, he possesses a fairly slim build, though clearly still very fit by human standards, and is heavier than his build would normally suggest (due to his increased tissue density). He often dresses in common spacer garb; simple pants and shirts with a light jacket or vest thrown on because, well... "space is cold", as they say. He arms himself with whatever weaponry may be required at the time (and he has access to), though has a particular liking for a DC-15s blaster pistol he won in a game of pazaak.
