Kaleesh Warrior Vs Space Hippie

Xion had become brave after his time away from the temple and training himself. A bit to brave others would say. He had turned his back and fled the temple without letting anyone know. Masters, knights, not even other padawans had known where Xion had fled to. He had went and became one with nature. He had learned about the living force and the truth about the galaxy. Fighting the Sith was pointless if during the battle you just destroyed as much as they did. Not just the humans or humanoid beings, but the plants had lives as well. They were also apart of the force in their own way. Xion was here now to test just how far he had came.

Not many knew of his return and he hoped it stayed that way because he really didn't want the masters dropping the hammer on him for what he had done. Dealing with such things would be to much trouble, especially when he knew they wouldn't see eye to eye. His time in the forests of Yavin were evident as his muscles were visible even through the shirt he wore, and his neck had gotten thicker. Xion had experienced many things that the jedi that stayed in the temple training hadn't. His empty sockets looked up at the sky, as he waited for the jedi knight he had challenged to arrive.

Rael had heard nothing of this Padawan until a few days ago. He'd received a message asking him for a duel. If you could call it that. Rael thought of it more as his first teaching session. Which, in actuality, it really wasn't. The kaleesh trekked his way into the training room, his lightsaber clipped to his belt. Something flipped in Rael, and he jumped back to his training on Kalee, remembering how his teachers had taught him. He dropped his cloak on the floor, and brought his lightsaber to his hands. "Xion, right? You're prepping for this Padawan tournie? Well, let's get to it."

Xion was no fool, the chances of him winning this fight were minute, especially considering he was facing a Kaleesh. They were practically bred for battle, and Xion was fighting one just to give himself a challenge. He looked the Kaleesh up and down letting his empty sockets stare at the man before he offered him a bow. "Quite the rush you are in. Sorry if I don't make this to easy." Xion said a smirk crossing his lips as he saw [member="Rael sul B'an"] shrug out of his robe. Xion himself did something similar but instead pulled off his shirt as he pulled it off his red hair fell free. His muscled chest could be seen and his brown skin shinned in the sunlight. Throwing the shirt at the Kaleesh as a distraction Xion watched as it unfurled creating a small screen covering his advance. Running forward with one of his lightsabers in his hand Xion jumped up and came down activating his blades in a slash aimed for the center of the Kaleesh's head. Both his hands were upon the curved hilt of the saber and the gold blade glowed brightly.

While the shirt might cause a visual distraction, it wasn't the first time someone had tried that on the Kaleesh. Rael felt himself drop into the Force, flowing through him, and guiding his muscles. He stepped to the side opposite the slash's direction, ducking under it. His blade came blazing to life, and Rael hit the back of Xion's blade, trying to add more momentum to it. Rael's blade spun over his head, and he spun with it. He slashed down in a powerful two handed strike, sending a slash straight for the Padawan's back.

The heavy strike from the Kaleesh did indeed send Xion's blade down to the point where it struck the ground. Xion wasn't to shocked by the strength of the Kaleesh. He hadn't expected to win with a single attack. If he had what good would the fight have been to him? Deactivating his saber Xion would place both his hands on the ground and contort his body where he flipped straight up balancing on both hands and lashing out with his legs. Each foot was aimed at the Kaleesh's elbow so as to throw off the vector of his attack. Then pulling in his legs again and kicking out they would be aimed for the chest of his enemy to push him back thus giving Xion some more breathing room. Flipping back to his feet he would hold his saber reactivating the blade the snap hiss sound it was known for.

The first kick did indeed stop Rael's attack, but the second set didn't do much. He stepped to the side, dodging the kick. Rael brought his blade swiftly over his head, and as Xion came flipping back up, Rael swung down with all of his force. Afterhe attack, he brought his blade back, and swung it at Xion's left side, then did the same to his right. Only the first attack was meant to do any damage. The other two were simply to push him back. Rael was rather certain that he could beat the Padawan, but knew there were many in the tournament who would be even more aggressive than the Kaleesh.

Raising his saber to intercept the incoming blow Xion knew that he was fighting a Kaleesh and that he didn't have the same amount of strength to compete with such a beast. Musch less take a full force blow so instead as the attack came Xion angled his saber to deflect the blow in a way that he didn't take the full impact. Even then he still felt his teeth rattle from the strength that had been behind the blow. With the second blow coming torwards his left Xion would brace himself spacing his legs out to shoulders width and turn the blade to intercept the blow once again. He would follow up doing the same to the right but as soon as he blocked the attack Xion would switch from defense not wanting to get himself pushed into a corner. He'd go from a block to slashing upwards with his saber before performing a spin and bringing it around aimed for the left side of Rael's waist but that was the distraction as Xion's leg would lash out in a kick at the Kaleesh's leg.

The spin gave Rael the time he needed, and he flicked his blade out, hitting Xion's away. As he did so, he took a few steps back. To be honest, that Padawan was impressing him. "You're doing good. I'm impressed. Who taught you?" Rael twirled his blade, and took a defensive stance in case Xion decided to attack again. Rael didn't know the disposition of him yet, but knew many Jedi didn't like to stop fighting. "What form are you using? Doesn't look like Djem So...Makashi, maybe?" Rael hadn't seen as stance from Xion yet, because, well, he'd tried to surprised the Knight.

Sensing a break in the battle Xion calmed himself deactivating both his sabers and letting his arms hang limply at his side. His body was covered in sweat from head to toe and his breathing was irregular from physical exertion. His crimson hair even clung to his face. "I never had a teacher. I couldn't stand being stuck inside these walls for to long. I left the temple to train myself. The force is my teacher and my guide. But you are impressive yourself, you make it hard for me to keep up and your strength is something I can't handle head on." Xion said wiping some sweat from his face. "However I practice Niman. I needed something that I could do randomly. Keep people guessing. Plus without anyone to teach me the other forms I doubt I'd be any good at them."

Then with no other warning Xion would jump forward bringing one of the blades down in a overhanded swing but spinning the dial on his saber it would shorten to the length of a shoto blade to pass by the kaleesh's guard if he put up one. Then upon landing Xion would go into a crouching spin bringing his right saber around and spinning the dial on it having the weapon extend father than a common saber should.

Rael did indeed bring a guard up, and when Xion shortened his blade, Rael new what would come next. A twisted form of trakata, a tactic Rael hated. He twisted to the side, Xion's blade jabbing past him. As Rael spun, his hand whipped down to his second saber, bringing it to life. Immediately, he started swinging at Xion, each blade coming in at odd angles and long slashes. Rael was planning on teaching the Padawan how to properly fight, but the dual phase lightsaber trick has irked him, and he'd decided to be a bit more ruthless.
