Kakasosûtsi Wtsia

The loud noises of the small cantina he was sitting washed over Xavka as he sat at one of the many tables that were spread around the room. Before him was a half finished meal of raw Bantha steaks with some simple herbs. He was currently staring at the datapad he held in one hand, the works of Zabrak before him in the field of quantum mechanics from the university he had studied at open for him to read.

He was due to leave the icy planet later that day and had asked for Noxith Drit'mec, the person he had fought only a few days previously. While they hadn't gotten along at first, Xavka had had to respect the man after fighting him. Zabrak's more often than not would choose friends based on what they would see while fighting them, believing that the best way to learn the true nature of people was when they did not think, when they only reacted without thinking and that the best way to force these conditions was through a fight.

Shifting slightly, Xavka leant back in his seat, letting a waitress place his ordered drink before him and offering her a quick smile, before returning to his reading, absentmindedly taking bites out of what remained of his steak.

Sighing, Xavka looked at the time in annoyance as he realised that Noxith was currently late, something that he hated to be and that he hated in everything else.

A cigarette and a gun's all you need.
Derriphan had gone out drinking the night before, mostly to keep himself from groaning out in boredom. His ship had been grounded due to it's time in the hangar before hand, something about suspected smuggling or something like that. In his frustration Derriphan had take up hunting small snow rabbits out in the icy tundras of Obra-skai for his own amusement.
As he walked into the cantina, a few of the patrons raised their hands in greeting to him, hunting buddies he had acquired over the passed few days. Seeing [member="Xavka Duquo"] sitting at his table, Derriphan slid into the booth opposite him and ordered a steak for himself along with a light alcoholic beverage that would be perfect with the food and was so lightly Alcoholic that it wouldn't even faze Derriphan in the slightest. "Sorry I'm late but I can't remember for the life of me what we were going to do today again?" He asked as he scratched the back of his head, the fuzziness from the drinking the previous night affecting him a little.

Xavka snorted as he placed his datapad to the side, focussing his attention onto the male opposite. "I'm not surprised you can't remember. I happened to walk into the bar you were at last night to catch you and some Gamorrean trying to outdrink each other. I'm surprised you don't need a new liver, really."

Chuckling quietly, Xavka knocked back the rest of his drink before turning to face Noxith. "As for what we were going to do, let me refresh your memory. Last night we got talking about our fight and you mentioned that you might like to learn how I imbued my blade with the Force enough so that it stood up to your lightsaber. I agreed to teach you, but placed the stipulation that I would not teach it for free and proposed that we traded knowledge. Does that ring any bells in that thick skull of yours?"

Noxith pressed his hand against his head and rubbed it against it. "It's not that thick and if I remembered correctly I beat that Gamorrean last night." He said with a cheeky smirk as he then gave a slight sigh and rubbed his temples with both hands as he tried to lessen his headache a bit. "So what is it you wanted me to teach you instead?" He then said his tone a bit annoyed but the headache was mostly the reason for it.

As the waiters came back he smiled to her as she handed him his plate with a sultry steak and he took a large bite from it and then took a sip of the beverage brought to him as well.

"Something that I can feel in your presence." As the waitress turned to walk away, Xavka's arm lashed out and grabbed her wrist, stopping her before she could leave. With a silent gesture of his hand he asked for a refill of his drink. He waited for her to take the glass and leave before he continued to speak.

"I can feel a sort of... controlled rage, within your presence. It's like it's a switch, hidden within yourself, that you can flick and loose control fall to pure anger and hate. That is what I want to learn. I want to learn how to do that. Do we have an agreement?"

He cocked a brow in addition to his question as the waitress returned with his drink. He have a quick smile before she left and he picked up the drink to take a long pull from it, the alcohol burning his throat slightly in a pleasant manner.

It curled Derriphans blood to hear that, the one ability he didn't like to use since it effectively turned him into an animal. A switch that once flipped made him not stop until either he or his target was dead or he simply succumbed to exhaustion. He didn't show any change in his expression but it was clear his sense soured a bit. "And that is the only thing you want to learn from me?" He then asked [member="Xavka Duquo"] as he flashed a small signal for a glass of juma juice to the waitress.
He leaned back and then ran one hands fingers through his thick black hair. "I can't teach you this ability here too many victims and casualties to be around when your learning it." He then said almost sardonically as he flashed the waitress a small wry grin once she brought him the glass.

Xavka chuckled darkly, a slightly vicious sound that reminded all that heard it of the real and feral nature of Zabraks. "Oh, I can understand that, but I do not wish to be taught the method, I wish to be told of it. After all, in the end, what am I worth if not my brains. All I'm looking for is a description on how to use this ability, from there I will attempt to learn how to truly use it. I thrive on a challenge." Xavka lifted the glass that sat before him in a salute before draining it.

Placing the now empty glass back on the table, Xavka cocked his head to the side slightly. "So, Noxith, when do you want to start?" The Zabrak leant back in his seat, his body completely relaxed. "Because I'm ready to start teaching you whenever you want to."

Derriphan cocked an eyebrow and then sighed as he leaned back into his chair and drained half his juma juice with a mirroring of the salute with his own glass. "Then it is simple to explain, Imagine yourself overcome with rage, ferocity and savagery but still pertaining most of your reasoning. At least that was how it was explained to me on how those proficient with the ability are but in the first few times while you are getting a handle on the skill there will only be who is my enemy and how fast can I kill them." He then explained, starting the lesson with already as he used telekinesis to make his glass hover just a bit above the table, only in a height that would make it clear to someone close and looking at it closely.
"Is that a good explanation or do you want more?" He asked then as he took the glass and drained it, letting it down to the side of him.

[member="Xavka Duquo"]

"No, no." Xavka chuckled lowly. "That is enough of an explanation. After all," here Xavka waved his hand negligently through the air, "the fun is in the experimentation. Now, Force Imbue. I believe that is what you wish to know, is it not?"

Standing, and dropping a few credit chips onto the table negligently, Xavka turned towards the exit of the cantina, tossing his words towards Noxith over his shoulder. "Meet me where we fought. I believe a less... noisy place would be best. Wouldn't you agree?"

His words said, Xavka walked out of the cantina and out towards the world outside of the spaceport. He expected Noxith to follow as, in the end, this was Noxith's only way to learn of the skill from the Zabrak, if he followed.

OOC:
Sorry for the subpar post. Xavka has grown so much from when this thread started that it's hard for me to remember how I had his personality.

Derriphan smirked a little and then walked after [member="Xavka Duquo"] out of the cantina. "A less crowded place would be ideal yes." He said as he walked out of the spaceport, a wall of frosty air hitting him as he left it. Wrapping his coat around his body a bit tighter he made a slight frown, he'd forgotten that the planet was a perpetual winter planet. "Remind me to go to a tropical planet once we go our separate ways..." He mumbled as he looked over the frozen tundra.
Frozen desserts, tundras and oceans were the main attraction of the planet and to say it was dreary to Derriphan would be an understatement, when he thought about it might be the reason he'd challenged that gamorean to a drinking contest the earlier night.

Xavka chuckled loftily at Noxith's comment of a tropical planet. "I agree with you on that. I mean, I'm used to wastelands, but I grew up in the desert wastelands of Iridonia, these frozen landscapes are not my preferred place." Chuckling again, Xavka turned to face Noxith front on.

"Now, shall we begin?" Xavka's attittude changed in an instant, all humour left him and he grew completely serious, an emotionless mask falling over his face.First, gather the Force into you hand. Do not do anything other than that yet, just collect a mass of it in the palm of your hand and hold it there. I wish to see how long you can hold it and how much you can control. Begin."

His instructions said, Xavka settled back to watch what Noxith did.

Derriphan's slight smirk that had begun to grow melted away as his eyes narrowed a little. Moving his hand out from his body he began to gather the force into his palm, to begin with it was difficult as he wasn't used to manipulating the force so finely like that. His fingers began to close and open in an involuntary manner as he focused as much as he could. From his furrowed brow it was clear this was difficult for him.

Xavka stayed silent, watching Noxith's attempts, for a while. He made no move to step forwards and explain what he was doing that was making the exercise harder for him than it had to be. That was, after all, how Xavka had been taught all manner of things. You were given a task then expected to explore numerous different ways of solving it, of finding the answer to the method, no other help was offered until the teacher thought that enough time and attempts had pasted.

A few minuets later, Xavka sighed in annoyance as Noxith continued to take the blunt force approach. Stepping forwards, he spoke up.

"You're trying to hard to make this happen. You've used the Force before, draw on it, just don't shape it. If it helps, just gather as much as you can, not as little, and stripe away at it bit by bit." Stepping back again, Xavka fell silent again, bar four words. "I hope this helps."

Derriphan listened to [member="Xavka Duquo"]'s second explanation but in his mind it wasn't the question of ability rather genetics he was part Dashad after all, a race renowned for it's force resistance. It had made it hard for him to simply learn those skills he knew now how to use but he'd learned to feed on the frustration to fuel his learning, though it only marginally helped him in reality. With what Xavka had directed he began to simply gather the force around him and into himself, funneling it into his hand, not much was lost during the transfer from his core into the hand but it was noticeable to himself.
It was a large globe around his hand that he began to shave of little by little but then he began to think a little outside the box, why not use his genetic disposition to help in the endeavor? And with that he began to allow his innate force resistance to shave what he needed off the energy in his hand while refilling it with a trickle of force energy until he liked the size and then just made the trickle of force energy drown out the resistance he had. "Something like this?" He then asked as it was clear he was straining with the exercise now.

"Good."

The single word was all the praise that Xavka bestowed upon his temporary student after observing Noxith achieve what he had asked. The odd feeling that had come from Noxith during the exercise, as if his own being was fighting his control on the Force, confused Xavka but he made to move to point it out, letting it slide.

"You can release it now. Just from that, I'm afraid I won't be able to teach you think in time before we leave our separate ways. Instead, I shall be telling you your next steps now. It's not my chosen method, but the only one we have access to.

"Now, once you mange to achieve the same result again, but without the strain to maintain it, you can move to the next step. From here it's rather simple. You just direct the gathered Force into your weapon. If you just direct it into the weapon so that it covers it completely, that gives you the resistance that I demonstrated. But, there is a second method, one that is harder to achieve, and gives an enhanced cutting edge. Once again you direct that Force into the weapon, but the hardest part is the method of which this must be done. You use a cycle to achieve the resistance, flow the Force down one side of the weapon, to the end and back up the other side where the cycle begins anew. It sounds, simple, but it's harder than you would expect.

"Any questions?"

Derriphan listened to [member="Xavka Duquo"]'s explanation and nodded once he was done. "So the circulation will give the weapon a more finer edge?" He asked as he released the force from his hand and crossed his arms across his chest. He was slowly gathering the force into his body to try and lessen the fatigue he was feeling building up.
