Appearance: Thin and lithe, Kaiah has strong arms and legs from many years of duelling. Her blue-grey skin contrasts her bright orange eyes, which are framed by low-set eyebrows. Her posture is tall and proud, with her shoulders set back and her chin held high.Family: Lady Mirria Nihl (Mother), Duke Raziah Nihl (Brother).
Strengths:
Melee Duellist: Nagai value honor above anything else, and an individual must keep their skills sharp in order to preserve such honor. Due to her rank, Kaiah made many enemies and had many reasons to hone her skills. She is particular skilled in the use of knives and blades, including lightsabers.
Pyrokinetic: Kaiah recieved no formal training in using the force, thus her affinity for such power manifested in uncommon ways. She is most proficient in Pyrokinesis: the manipulation of fire. She can summon and control fires, as well as prevent them from burning her.
Weaknesses:
Poor Force Defence: While Kaiah can feel the Force quite strongly, she has received little training in defending her from force attacks. Her family largely ignored the force within her, prompting little chance to learn a proper defence.
Poor Sight: Kaiah is naturally short-sighted. She has never sought treatment and foregoes the use of glasses or contact lenses.
Biography:
Born on Nagi, Kaiah spent most of her time amid the forests that populated the planet, rather than the glittering cities. With a thirst for adventure, she bonded well with her brother, despite his propensity for violence. Together they would explore their home, and later they would explore much of the Galaxy together.
In time, Raziah became increasingly more violent. Deeply embracing the Dark Side of the Force, Kaiah feared her brother's anger and his wrath. In her 20th year (and Raziah’s 22nd) she abandoned him in the Unknown Regions and returned to her homeworld: Nagi.
For three years she would serve House Nihl, assisting her family in diplomacy. Shortly before her 23rd birthday, her Father passed away. Raziah was next in line for the Dukedom, however he was still missing. Thus, Kaiah assumed the title of Duchess.
One year into her rule, Raziah returned. He demanded the title of Duke and, when Kaiah denied him, he challenged her to a duel. Kaiah accepted the duel, stating that the victor would assume the title.
Raziah won the duel utterly. Using dark powers that he had learned, he restrained the Kaiah using the Force and broke her arms. Unable to fight, Kaiah conceded defeat but claimed his victory was not an honourable one. Raziah gave her an ultimatum, serve him as his advisor and diplomat, or die. Kaiah accepted the former and was granted a place by her brother's side.
While serving as a diplomat, Kaiah secretly scoured the galaxy for the means to defeat Raziah. Her travels led her to the Spires of Hell, following rumors of her brother visiting. With the assistance of three Disciples of Ren, she explored deep into the Bluespire. She was separated from the group, stumbling across an ancient celestial artefact in a long-forgotten temple.
She remembers nothing of what happened next, save that her mind was broken, and she was driven mad. At the behest of her companions, the First Order sent a team to retrieve her. Finding her unnaturally deranged, she was given to the Order of Ren. Acting on Supreme Leader’s command, her mind was repaired. The experience left its mark, however. With a new and unusual connection to the force, Kaiah pledges her service to the Supreme Leader, Sieger Ren.
