OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Hadzuska (Sith for Shadow)
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Kahlil's blood.
  • Average Lifespan: Indefinite
  • Estimated Population: Unique
  • Description: Generally Hadzuska resides in either Kahlil's shadow or the shadows in the room, aiming to be unseen. When it is visible however it shows as a mass of shifting darkness with two pale eyes and multiple arms that come and go as needed.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type I, II, and III
  • Average Height of Adults: It can shift as small as a pinprick and as large as 3 meters in height.
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: Darkness
  • Hair color: No hair.
  • Distinctions: Hadzuska is the only one of it's version of Sith Familiar, looking drastically different from the usual bird shape. In place of the former's ability to fly, Hadzuska was made with the inclination for it to be able to hide in shadow, thus it's fluid like shadowy appearance.
  • Force Sensitivity: All
Strengths:
  • Shadow Shape: Hadzuska can meld into shadows. It doesn't become the shadow itself, but it can shrink down it's size and color to match the shadows as needed.
  • Familiar: As a Sith Familiar it is linked to Kahlil, allowing Kahlil to see and hear through it, as well as cast spells as if it was Kahlil himself.
  • Resummon: While not instant, Kahlil can with enough time and materials resummon Hadzuska from his own blood should the Familiar ever be destroyed.
  • Fueled by the Force: When allowed to gorge itself on the Force it can manifest it's multi armed form and actually attack on it's own. Doing so however usually requires the sacrifice of multiple Force Sensitives, making it's 'engorged form' a rarity.
Weaknesses:
  • Weak: As a Familiar Hadzuska is very fragile. It's job is to spy, and is easily destroyed by most mundane means.
  • Costly: It's not cheap to make.
  • Force Light: As a Familiar to hide in darkness any form of Force Light will completely destroy it.
  • Force Dependency: Without the Force, the creature begins to whither and die. It usually devours the Force around it, but in situations where the Force is non existent such as Vong planets or areas with Void Stone it will begin to fade away and die.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Other- Hadzuska is a being made from the Dark Side of the Force, and as such needs the Force to survive. It can devour from the environment around it, or in rare cases when allowed from Force Sensitives themselves.
  • Communication: It speaks through telepathy to Kahlil and others as needed.
  • Technology level: N/A
  • Religion/Beliefs: It's master, it's god, is Kahlil, he who gave it life. It worships and follows it's master like a loyal dog, ever waiting to please.
  • General behavior: Hadzuska spends most of it's time in isolation, living in the shadow of it's master to go unseen for hours, days, even weeks. But even there it's mind is at work thinking of the best way to assist it's master. When such an opportunity arises, it speaks up to Kahlil to let him know of it's ideas and even takes initiative to help without being ordered to do so. In a way, it has some free will.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Once again Kahlil has found himself delving into the secrets of the Sith, but this time into an ancient art of Familiars once used by Sith so long ago. But, in the classic Kahlil way, he needed to change it and make it his own. From his own blood he formed a mass of darkness. Over days of rituals using the most expensive materials he could buy, and some he had to find in ancient tombs filled with traps and other Sithspawned creatures, until finally, he finished it.

Hadzuska was formed from the very Darkness Kahlil used, shapeless and formless. A cloud with two eyes staring right at it's master. It was a brief meeting before it fell in line, hiding itself in Kahlil's shadow to avoid the dull light from the candles used. There it rests, ever patient to find a task to please it's master, it's pale eyes occasionally seen as it peeks out of the darkness.
