Name: Kadian Dalek Beast

Designation: Semi-sentient
Homeworld: Kad V
Language: None
Average height of adults: Varies between one meter and three depending on how venerable its age is.
Skin color: Pinkish color to Jet-Black
Hair color: No color
Breathes: It does not breathe normally. Like the Lungless Gand, they receive gas exchange through metabolic means.

Strengths: If allowed to, Dalek can live for a very long time. Also, because of their adopted skeletons, it is often difficult to reach their major weakness of their organ sack. There is little the Dalek can't attempt eating, as their acid spit can dissolve many disagreeable organic substance's. They don't breathe, and thus can't be killed by aerial poisons.

Weaknesses: Their most vulnerable point is their organ sack, and their mouth; easily exploitable. They do not have fast acting regenerative ability's, and cannot replace missing tendrils without sufficient nutrients. The same goes for severed tendrils attempting to continue it's growth, and if done correctly, a Dalek can reattach missing tendrils by fusing around it; but it is more likely the Dalek will simply eat it.

Distinctions: The Dalek are a mass of tendrils with the ability to fuse together. These bone-less creatures are in essence, a sack of organs with an asymmetrical mess of appendages. With this sack of organs, includes: a heart, a brain, and a complicated stomach system. Above the sack of organs, is something like a head. It has a mouth that secrete's stomach acids to better digest food. It has various eyes upon it that have no symmetrical placement at all, and minuscule hairs used for sensing vibrations in the air and ground. This blob of flesh though is utterly defenseless to the wild without skeletal protection. Thus, using their ability to slowly engulf and fuse together around an object, they build their own skeletons and shells of armor by stealing these things from their prey, and taking their bones after eating them. They do not limit themselves to animal organic structures though, as they are also known for accumulating into their system many different foreign objects, such as tree branches and stones. Because of this, Dalek are generally very dangerous, as their mess of a body usually possess's an assortment of dangerous objects to kill prey with. Also, more dangerously, Dalek never stop growing after birth, and can reach to incredible mass if allowed to live into the venerable stage of life.

Also due to their adoptive nature, the Dalek's often take the basic shape of the most common animals in the area, which are most often their most common source of bones. This also makes them very competitive and territorial, as something that becomes their's can't be taken away unless it's stolen from killed prey. This leads the animals to cannibalize Dalek who have stock piled things the aggressor wants.

Average Lifespan: They can live up to be 250 years old before they grow to a size that their organs can't support, but on average they die of poison, disease, or fighting by the age of 80.
Races: Dalek's can sometimes appear blue or green as opposed to pink when born close to the water, such as a sea coast.
Diet: If it looks like something that moves, Dalek will attempt to eat it. The Dalek are immune to many foreign materials, but because of their inquisitive and curious nature, they end up eating things they shouldn't and die by various poisons.
Communication: They use a method of gurgling the acids in the maw, to produce a liquid screech that gives them their name, as it sounds like they are screaming "Da-lek".

Culture: They have no intelligent culture, but as animals they are very territorial, and anti-social. All Dalek are competitors for food, and the best skeleton, as well as possessions. There are many things that interest Dalek, but asymmetrical, and intricately shaped objects are some of the most interesting, as well as objects with varying textures.

Technology level: No Technology level.

General behavior: Dalek, are not inherently aggressive. In fact, at times they can be observed as being calm, but these rare instance are only when there are few other competitors to deal with. They have little discrimination in what it objectify's as food, or what could become a bone to it.

History: [Describe an abridged history]

Notable Player-Characters: Probably not a viable race to Roleplay as.

Intent: The intent of this race is to clarify what the Dalek-Class Imperial Assault Frigate is named after, and to provide a unique animal that can be used by anyone, but will most likely be primarily be used by me in my up coming character, who is yet to be named. This is not meant to be a cross over in any capacity, I just thought it would be a good idea to tie in where that ship got its name from.
