Description: As the second official model of the newly developed bipedal series sought by Lierra, the Surgeon would have large shoes to fill, without a doubt. While certain areas of combat and comfort had been taken care of with the addition of previous droids, the problem of injury and near-fatal experiences remained a threat throughout most Emeritus establishments. The "Surgeon", contrary to its name, was made to fulfill several medical tasks and operations, rather than focusing solely on the opening of the body. With an ever expanding knowledge of medical history and practical as well as more intricate uses, the droid has proven to be successful in most operations concerning the health and well-being of its patients. Excellent programming in its design lead to the surgeon having training in anesthesia, medical diagnostics, surgery, hematology, and more in due time. While made to act on its own in most instances, the model is also fitted to work with most any having knowledge pertaining to a particular medical field if required of them.

Made to be an all-purposes medical droid (to an extent), the surgeon is made to traverse and perform its work on the battlefield as much as any on site location or homestead. Should the event of an attack occur, it will most likely drag the selected victim to a safer location (with the assistance of security personnel or other combat fitted droids) and resume taking action towards keeping the sentient being alive and well. Though able to be deployed to less-than friendly territories surrounding the galaxy, surgeons were not made for any or all combat extensive purposes, carrying no weapon or the mind to take a life personally. In a dire situation between an assailant and a victim to be patched up, the droid will merely continue to attempt to bring the target away from the fight, rather than focus on the attacking party. This response will be triggered if the surgeon enters a certain proximity from the victim, and unfortunately most often leads to its untimely destruction.

Though given an amount of programming to be allowed to travel to those in need, their primary usage can be found within the offices of Emeritus employees, as well the homes of wealthy clientele. Preferring to stick in groups, the Surgeons are most often given their own separate medical wing in each Emeritus establishment, to be used for medical purposes and on site emergencies. Or, if purchased through the company, it can easily adapt to any home setting if given the proper tools and time. No matter what kind of damage has been inflicted, Lierra Umdal can feel safe knowing the new model has been equipped to try and most accordingly save one's life.

[member="Lierra Umdal"], conceptually this looks good. We only have a few details to go over.

1) For the manufacturer heading, please hyperlink "Emeritus Industries" to its formal company submission.

2) Medical droids are typically 1st degree droids. Is there a specific reason this one is a 3rd degree droid?
