SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Gorgeous – bedazzling, may inspire envy

  • Alchemized – various effects

No wear and tear, will stop a bullet (or several), extremely difficult to destroy

  • Imbued with wicked energies of Sith Sorcery

  • Dark side aura

Strengths:

  • Nairiyinya: Aids the Major in withstanding, avoiding, or altogether eschewing fear – both natural and Force-induced terror will find a stalwart ward in this amulet. While it by no means grants immunity, Kûtsayakir is a great source of focus and strength when the agent battles such emotions.

  • Dir’drasasniriyanttû: Lends exceptional clarity and concentration to Sybil in combat. More importantly, it enhances the rush of euphoria experienced in killing another living being – this thrill is more pronounced and lasts longer, catering to the sadistic hedonist.

  • Tsakwaswisosûtuis: The amulet is unaffected by wear and tear, and resistant to most conventional forms of damage. Even lightsabers – though what good a palm-sized pendant can do against a blade is another matter. Barring pinpointed attacks with Force Light, the Kûtsayakir can survive virtually any abuse.
Weaknesses:

  • Saud’satdijsanttû: The rush of focus and delight requires a constant sacrifice of flesh and blood, and it cannot be Major’s own. It is fueled well by combat, but outside of it, the greed of Kûtsayakir is difficult to satisfy.

  • Kraujasitsûyuska: The amulet works for Sybil Shepardt, and her alone. Anyone else donning the pendant will be wearing a peculiar necklace at best, and a beacon of the Dark side at worst.

  • Ririna iru dziuyottoi: The Sorceress of Athiss exacts the price of her talent in a manner far more ancient than any credits. Bound by blood, Sybil becomes a source of power Yidhra can draw upon whenever the Major is wearing the amulet.

  • Irus’imohtiniyanttû: As with all creations of Sith Alchemy, a prolonged exposure to Force Light can weaken or even destroy the artifact.

  • Qyâsiktsûduma: In the presence of Force-weakening or nullifying effects such as Voidstone or Ysalamiri, the amulet will simply become a piece of hardy jewelry. Once outside of its reach, its abilities will resume as normal.
DESCRIPTION
Following her meeting with Major Sybil Shepardt, Yidhra first pored over the many texts in her vast library – with such a particular request, the chosen materials would be of utmost importance. The gemstones especially would guide her runes and the thread of sorcery as she wove it into the pendant.

Once she’d decided on the stones to use, she harnessed the power of modern technology and her many sithspawn creations, set to coax the crystals to life as they grew corrupted inside a living creature.

While the jewels were coming into their own, the Sorceress went about shaping the amulet proper. Forged and reforged in the volcanic fires of Raekkar, the final shape was crafted to be a simple beveled vessel for the maturing gemstones. For two sources of blood, Yidhra chose two sources of metal. Intermingling, they created natural striations in the resultant alloy – the play of colors was further enhanced when the Pureblood carved Sith runes into the face of the pendant, thus laying the foundation for the more complex incantations to come.

First, a Kasha crystal for the centerpiece, grown in the belly of a Zûtadasihttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/111869-zûtadasi-cursed/. Extracted and cut en cabochon, then inscribed with High Sith hieroglyphics. After this, she left the Kasha to soak in blood while she followed a similar process with the Dantari gems.

These were grown inside Wira Siqsahttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/114129-wira-siqsa-spined-demon/ to bestow upon them the vicious nature of the beast; the thrill of the hunt; the joy of tearing flesh from bone. Upon excising them from the creature whilst it still bucked on the slab, the Pureblood separated and faceted the Dantari into four distinct barion cuts.

Once the stones were properly suffused with the blood of the sacrifice, Yidhra began the delicate process of marrying metal and stone. It was here that she truly began to draw on the art of alchemy – through a seven-hour ritual in the sweltering heat of the forge, the Sorceress of Athiss bound the crystals to the amulet at a molecular level, joining them irrevocably for all eternity.

After a final quenching in blood, she affixed the pendant to a simple chain of alchemized bronzium.

Yidhra called it Kûtsayakir, and saw that it was good.
