Just two normal girls hanging out having fun

“I’m glad.” Sena smiled as the other girl clinged to her arm. “Well, we’ll see where the night takes us. It’s only just begun.”

The one lunatic lead it’s novice down the road. People passed them by as sena played the part of a supportive friends. The definition of which was still very much debatable. After all, she was supporting this girl in becoming so much more than just ‘Ameli Trahir’ or a mere acolyte. The only thing that made little to no sense was why the ‘pillar of support’ would be flashing grins around the place as the one who seemed to need the support still had her mascara run down her cheeks.

“You look good by the way.” Sena added as they passed the crowds. “The ruined make up gives us a cover.”

Slowly they passed through the district and into a zone seemingly made out of bright neon lights. Fluorescent lights reigned supreme as the many different songs from a wide variety of clubs blared out into the streets. From dark club, techno house and pop to the heaviest of metals. The hard part was not merely picking the club, but the right mood. There were rustic, hip, niche and underground. A heaven for her newfound friend.

“Welcome, friend,” Sena stretched her arm out in a most dramatic way. “To the best little corner of Coruscant.”

“Take your pick. Clubs, pubs, dubs and... Something else that rhymes with clubs. They got it here.”

We'll see where the night takes us. It's only just begun. Sena could not have been more right. The night was young, and it belonged to these two. Lunatic one and two. Force have mercy on the people of Coruscant. No one was truly innocent, no one was truly safe. No one was truly more than a toy to be played with, or at best, cattle. Sena and Ameli were of the dark, and they belonged to the night. The stars would descend from the skies, to have their fun with the mortals beneath.

So far, Sena was the only one who had taken an interest in Ameli. Sure, there were others, but unlike them, she sensed no ulterior motive. Her father had betrayed her in the end, so he didn't count. So Ameli valued Sena's lessons, her opinion. Along with the friendship, a bond was shaping. It wasn't dependency... But still, she had this eerie feeling that separating the two would be an uncomfortable process, for whoever attempted such a foolish plan. They had found each other, and they weren't letting go.

"Thank you!" Ameli said with a wide grin, unfitting for look she was going for, that seemed to scream 'desperately sad'. Ameli seemed to realise this as well, as she added in a whisper "Oh, should I play more the part?" Then again, people saw what they wanted. The reality of sad girl #1, supportive friend #2 was not a new reality. It was easy to accept, without examining the cracks. Yet, Ameli wanted to do good. Nothing about her screamed satisfaction with mediocrity.

"You look good too" Look at her, taking compliments and giving them back, and truly meaning it. She was smiling again. But she soon tried to recover, and faking the slow, slugged walk of someone who was deeply sad. What had happened? Had one of her boyfriends broken up with her again? No... She had ended it. With Sena's knife. Damnit, now she was smiling again. Pretending to be sad was a tricky task for blondie.

The duo walked into a busy street, and it only got busier from there. This area was the heart of the night life. Or rather, it was one of them. To Ameli, this offered many potential nights and various ways of fun. Each club, longue, bar had something unique to offer. A certain atmosphere, a certain clientele. However, now she had yet another passion, one she could easily mix in with her love of the night life. She felt like she had just discovered dancing. Much like she had felt about dancing when coming to Coruscant, Ameli was grateful that she had a dancing partner in this as well.

Jag bygger, bygger upp...

They were walking, but in the back of her mind, there was as if there was one place calling to her. The light, quick beat of a song that forced itself upon her. It would not allow her to forget it. She even started humming the chorus. That was all she got. It was in some foreign language, and Ameli sure couldn't make sense of it.

Du gör mig så lack...
It was off in the distance, but it was getting closer. The duo passed by a variety of clubs, high-class and less so. There were few shady pubs this deep within, but there were several classy bars. What did she feel like? Rave? Underground? Dark club? She loved the dark clubs... The answer made itself, however.

Hörru, du måste flytta på dig
When Ameli stopped, and looked to the side, she realized they had stopped in front of that same club that had playing that inescapable song. Ameli lifted her hand, pointing a slender finger at the entrance. "There" she said, glancing over to Sena to seek her approval. Yet unless Sena made any loud protests, Ameli would grip her friend's hand, and slowly lead her into the den ahead of her. Closer, closer to the beat, that grew louder, until it completely enveloped her. There was no escape... Not for them, not for those inside.

Flytta, flytta, flytta, flytta, flytta, flytta, flytta, flytta,
flytta, flytta, flytta, flytta,
Du måste flytta på dig

There was a part of their walk that proved hard for Sena to play along with as well. For each step they took she tried to come with terms with it as the oddest of warmths seemed to beam in her heart and even though today was quickly turning into the best day of her life she still couldn’t help letting the pain she felt get to her. It was as if somewhere deep down she knew that she would let this girl down somehow.

“No, it’s good.” Sena managed before the girl. “And-and, thank. You.”

Her hand reached up to cover her mouth as if she thought herself on the cusp of a cough. In reality it was to wipe away the stray tears and mask up the pain. Sena had once had a friend like this, but it was a long time ago. Back from before, all the way from back then. Hubine had been one of the first who had left her in the pits. One of many, but the one she remembered the most like an image burned to the back of her mind.

But Sena knew she was dead and taken the first bit of the young acolyte’s with her. The tears on her face were like mirrors from the past mixed with the sentimental value of finally having someone new in her life. It hurt, it healed, it did everything wrong yet everything right. For so long had she told herself that there was no need for others, but...

But Ameli was tearing that down. Hard.

“Yes.” Sena nodded in approval. “It’s good.”

Though her friend’s mind was set on the game, their game, Sena’s was set on something else. The waves and flips of hair as she was tugged off to the loud noises of a club she truly did not really care about. There was this woman, blonde, blue eyes and with a spirit to her that was contagious.

The music boomed, the drinks clanked. Sena and Ameli took a spot by the bar and she really couldn’t help herself. Her arms wrapped around the girl with the messed up make up. A soft sob called out into her shoulder for only Ameli to hear. Sena couldn’t even remember the last time that happened. Crying was a sign of weakness, of letting her girl down, but this girl was...

Special.

“Our mother has died.” She shivered as she let go. “Step-sisters. It happened a week ago. A speeder malfunction that left no survivors.”

Her facade of trying to approach it with a professional angle failed miserably. For all those around Sena could very well have been crying for real. Which she was, obviously, but she desperately tried not to. She was weak, it was a sign of it. Sena really shouldn’t let others think of her to be just as weak as she felt.

She hugged her again. For good measure and to keep the cover up. Obviously.

Not.

It's a weakness.

The girls walked together, both leaning on each other. Both had their own demons, their own past to come to terms with. Yet somehow, walking was easier now. It wasn't better to be alone. Maybe it was safer, but kark safety. This was worth the risk. Ameli's walk was not without hatred, one aimed at her father for never teaching her this. Her idol, her lone guiding star, had been nothing but a dark puppet master all along. There was more to life than blind obedience, and believing everything someone told you. She was taking every chance she could now, with little regards to her own safety or the outcome. Like a drug, she couldn't let go of freedom.

Ameli couldn't help but notice Sena was struggling a bit as well. She had a feeling she was going through a similar process, but perhaps for different reasons. Ameli made sure to hold her friend extra close, a little tighter than what was necessary as they walked. It was almost as if she was afraid if she didn't, her grip would lose touch with her and Sena would fall away from her.

Once more, Senameli walked up to a bar. This time, they weren't strangers. A quick flashback moved past her mind, to when she first had accidentally bumped into Sena before, and randomly asked to join her dancing. Best decision ever.

It seemed Sena had similar thoughts, as suddenly now it was her wrapping her arms around Ameli. She felt the tears well up behind her eyes, but the blonde fought to keep them back. This time, she would be strong. For Sena. An arm wrapped around Sena, gently stroking at her back. She even leaned in to give the redhead a light kiss on the head. It felt affectionate, more so than what she had thought it would. At the time, it had seemed like the natural thing to do. Only after she had done so, she realised it was the first time she had ever done that.

Ameli listened as Sena explained what their story was. This time, it was Ameli who lifted a hand to wipe the other girl's tears. They had each other's back. Their make-up certainly didn't. They both looked a mess. But, it fit with the role. "I like it. I can play that." she smiled, that kind of smile that now was only for Sena's eyes, at least so far. "I like the idea of pretending to be your sister" it felt right. It felt close. Ameli wanted to be close. She kind of needed it. Whether for herself, or the other girl, was hard to tell.

Ameli welcomed the hug, embraced it. Meanwhile, two guys approached. Was it kindness? Or did they think the emotionally unstable girls made for an easy target? Their intent mattered not. The second they came close, and one guy opened his mouth to speak, Ameli lifted a finger in sharp protest. Her eyes narrowed, ice cold murder in her eyes, almost like a lioness protecting her cub from stranger danger. It wasn't too far off. She was caring for her sister. They were having a moment. The guys froze, and slowly backed away. Ameli eased up, and returned to the hug.

[member=Sena Lassiter]

Sena needed it. The hug, the kiss on the forehead and the attention that Ameli brought her. The young acolyte could have put up the act of a heartless shrew again but ultimately that too would have collapsed. All it took was the soft touch of Ameli’s lips on her forehead to send Sena away and get lost in a haze of... Something. For the first time seemingly ever her heart began beating but not in pain and anger or even the joy of having found herself a friend. Internally she tried to quench the fires before they spread but it proved fruitless. All Sena could do at this point was to accept the other girl’s embrace.

“Thank you.” She whispered to Ameli for only her ears to hear. “Thank you.”

She slowly let go of the girl. She didn’t want to, not ever, but standing still in front of a crowd of strangers all night didn’t seem like the best of ways to pass time. Not when so much else had been promised. Sena took her time to open her eyes. There was no need to rush the moment.

A slight dizziness fell over her and with it Sena felt her grip on reality slip. To her it felt like she was being transported to another dimension parallel to their own, a dimension where the music from the club’s speakers had died out and been replaced with music of her own choosing.

Under other circumstances she would have felt weak, but not here. Not in this plane of her own where everything was okay and all was forgiven. Outside of this dimension she was Sena Lassiter and she was having minor breakdown. Outside of her own dimension she was staring blankly at the most important person ever. This person that she had just met.

They had only known each other for a few hours but the other woman, [member="Ameli Trahir"], had already surpassed the importance of any other person she had met up until now. Darth Nephthys was no one important. Velda, Sena’s own sister, was unimportant. The fact that her list of people could be counted on just one hand hadn’t escaped her either, but that was a subject of discussion for sometime considerably later.

Focus returned to the side-dimension in which only Sena herself and Ameli existed. For a second longer she stared at the girl as she pointed at the two strangers with a look to her that would have killed lesser men. She was amazing, she was by all means the best friend Sena had ever had and that terrified the young acolyte more than it should have. Not because it felt wrong, it felt like all kinds of right, but it was all alien territory. Was getting connected like this a weakness or not? She felt a tinge of doubt, fear and confusion spread throughout.

At this point time was still at a near-halt. Ameli’s attention gently swerved back to Sena and for a moment they locked eyes. The panic amplified itself and spread like wild fire again. Sena had to look the other way. Her head turned to the side and for a mere second she looked at the two guys to run an inspection of them. It wasn’t to size them up as much as drawing a comparison. In the end they lacked everything. They didn’t even know. Nobody would, nobody except...

Sena turned back to Ameli and her instinct took over. Her head gently shook, her mouth slowly opened as if she had something to say but couldn’t find the words for. Eyes jittered, panic evident. Here came breakdown part two, the scene where Sena ruined everything she had ever done and worked up for.

“I don’t want another sister.” She managed in a shaken whisper.

Confusion reigned supreme as the half-Corellian wrapped her arms around Ameli even tighter. One hand at her shoulder and the other at her lower back. This was how she did it when she acted it out in a hunt, but for the first time ever it didn’t feel like an act. It was terrifying, she was going to regret this and she knew it. However, if she didn’t do this now she wouldn’t ever be able to live with herself.

Sena had to do this.

At least so she told herself as she pulled the other woman in closer,

As she went for the face,

For the lips,

For a kiss.

Sena had to do this.

Sena's 'thank yous' warmed the young blonde's body, and it was hard not to smile. Despite apparently being in mourning for her mother, the girl was smiling. It was a smile with shaky lips, however, as tears ever threatened to invade her the shores of her face. The tone of Sena's voice as she uttered that final thank you was one Ameli could relate to, so well. Each girl, ironically, served as both cause and comfort for the other's tears.

They hadn't known each other long, but it all made sense. It was as if they were best friends in a former life, and finally, their spirits had reconnected. They knew each other. They were two pieces of the same, particularly pretty coin. Ameli didn't fight it at this point. She needed this to happen, she wanted this to happen. She had never had a best friend, someone to share every single thought and story with. She played the part of confident, head-strong, and even stubborn, but even she needed assurance and validation. This was a brave new world, and Ameli was very much a foreigner whereever she stepped. She felt no sense of belonging. Except tonight.

Sena's head turned to the side. In a voice that was but a whisper, she said that she didn't want a sister. Kark. Karkkarkkarkkark. Now it was the blonde's turn to panic. Ameli had done something wrong. Her heart stopped, and locked itself to her throat. What had she said? Was it the kiss on the head? Was it too much too fast? Had she scared away the one person she wanted near? "Oh" was all Ameli could say, as she struggled to come to terms with the situation, yet act graceful. 'I see', was what she wanted to say, if not for that single word uttered having claimed her last bit of spare energy.

Panic turned to confusion, keeping her away from dealing with the hand of rejection she had just been dealt. Sena was holding her. To ease her pain, perhaps? Ameli had no time to think, her mind was too clouded for that. Desperately hopeful eyes stared at Sena, as she slowly got closer to the other girl.

Her eyes went wide. A kiss. This was the last thing she had expected. Only now did Sena's words make sense. It was not rejection... It was affection. An act that transcended friendship. Her emotional rollercoaster was far from over, as the blonde let out a light surprised gasp, that vibrated against the other girl's lips.

Hearts knocking like a ticking bomb

Sena opened the doors to her dimension. Such a beautiful, tranquil place. Rules, expectations, and all thoughts cast aside - Ameli's right hand landed on the back of Sena's head, a gentle grip on the other girl's hair. Her formerly wide eyes now were only half opened, looking drowsy, almost drugged. They were slipping into another place. Sena opened the doors to her dimension. Ameli walked in. Her face chased the other girl, despite there being no distance between them. She wanted to be closer. What did this mean? She didn't really know. What was she doing? She didn't really know. She didn't really want to think about the implications. She just wanted it to happen, and not have to worry about a thing. Whatever Sena's intentions had been, Ameli extended the duration of the kiss.

I'll be the mess, you be the medicine

It was the one moment in her entire life when everything felt just right. In this moment there were no rules, no expectations and no pain. It was a moment of rare clarity as the two acolytes allowed their two worlds collide into one. Ameli’s hand ran through her hair while Sena held on to the girl’s entire form. Her hand stroked along Ameli’s shoulder in a dance she never hoped to see the end of.

A steady stream of tears began to run down the acolyte’s cheeks. It was happiness and joy in it’s most purest form: love. It felt weird to call it as such but they had connected on so many levels that calling it anything else would feel wrong. Sena had met a once-in-a-lifetime friend. It felt impossible that the two had been anything short of strangers only a few hours ago. They must have been shown each other somehow, somewhere at some time for a reason and now that Sena had found her she was never letting go, not ever.

But try as she might their face chasing still reached the point where it had to slow down. Not because Sena wanted it to, but because even she knew that despite all the comfort that the other girl brought her the beckoning waves of reality would still come knocking on their doors at some point.

She slowly separated herself from her friend. The faintest of gasps reverberated between the two as Sena slowly opened her eyes to the reality she would so gladly toss aside. The beat of the club slowly resurfaced from the bottom of whichever pit it had been forced to hide under. For a moment longer she stared at Ameli with nothing but the warmest of smiles spreading on her previously occupied lips. The two guys still stood staring in complete surprise but they didn’t matter anymore. The voice within Sena’s mind had been muted and in it’s place came something else, something better.

Her urge to cause pain had slowly begun to fade and in it’s place came only the one desire: ‘Look out for her. Take care of her.’

Sena’s arms rapidly wrapped themselves around Ameli once more. Her face buried itself in the other woman's shoulder.

“You are amazing.” She said as she let her hug grow even tighter. “That is all I can say.”

“You are amazing and I... I will show you everything. Anything. Give me the sign and I will teach you everything I know.”

Ameli had no reference experience for this one. She didn't know the rules, she didn't know what it implied. She didn't know what Sena expected from her, wanted from her, nor did she know what to expect in return. Thoughts were cast aside, she'd find out when she needed to. All she truly needed right now, was to prolong this moment for as long as possible. Their dimension, and truly, it was their dimension now, was a place hard to leave behind. Yet reality beckoned.

In this reality, Sena was crying. Ameli's hands, which were conveniently placed near Sena's head, moved from behind her head to the front of her face, to wipe her tears. Yet Ameli was forced to bring out a smile, not just from that strange and foreign feeling inside of her, but also because she realised Sena's tears were tears of joy. At this point, as she'd already opened the doors previously, it became impossible for Ameli to keep her own tears back. Their make-up must really hate them at this point.

It felt crazy, how quickly the two girls hand bonded, connected, and suddenly now they were here. She had been pretty quick to think she liked the girl, and would like her to be her friend. The fact that the other girl thought the same was unexpected. This development, much more so. What did this mean? Were they friends that also kissed? Were they more? What did that mean?

Slowly, their lips parted, and what was left were two girls, make-up absolutely ruined, staring at each other. After the gasp, one of Ameli's fingers affectionately graced over her lower lip, before withdrawing back to its owner. Like Ameli had pursued Sena before, now Sena pursued Ameli. Ameli's arms naturally wrapped themselves around Sena in return. It was becoming a natural reflex at this point, a habit, though the feeling was still new and it echoed through her with emotions of explosive powers. Her grip tightened, holding her as close as possible. The final release, after a long build-up. First Act of her life had been living on that ship, called princess but her true named really being prisoner. The point where all of that vanished, the move to Coruscant, everything from then up until now had simply been the transition from Act I to Act II. Was Sena her Act II?

"You are amazing too. Thank you" it felt like silly words, yet they were true, and she didn't know what else to say. Her mind was a mess of feelings and thoughts she had never dared to think. "I'd like that" she didn't have anything to teach back. She didn't know what Sena would show her, but she was sure it was so much more than what she already knew. It didn't really matter what she showed her though. The most important part was that to teach her anything at all, they had to be together.

[member=Sena Lassiter]

What this meant was that for the first time ever Sena had found someone that she cared for more than herself. This person didn’t seem to care who she was, Sena was allowed to be herself without having someone judge her or even run away. At least that’s what it felt like in the moment and that was good enough for her to toss all worry aside. There was no yesterday or tomorrow. Right now there was just Sena and Ameli and the events that transpired in the present.

“Then I will show you everything.” Sena said as she loosened her grip around the girl. A meager smile spread from cheek to cheek as tears were wiped away. She remained staring as if the fire in her heart prevented her from doing anything else.

Was this the start of something cute or terrifying? Did anyone truly want to know that?

Letting one of her arms remain around the other woman’s shoulders she began leading her towards the bar. They needed to dodge that heat and attention, even if Sena herself found such a thing incredibly welcome. The two guys had long since stopped staring. A quick survey around the club found both of them with a blonde each in their lap sipping drinks in a booth on the other side of the establishment.

Their loss.

“Corellian ale for the both of us!” Sena announced happily.

“You two sure you need it?” The bartender responded.

Sena looked at Ameli, then the bartender and laughed.

“Absolutely, yes.”

Two glasses of the golden-brown liquid was promptly brought to the disk and with it Sena grabbed a hold of one while allowing Ameli to grab a hold of hers. This was where it started. The training and the know how of how to control others. A booth was emptied by Sena’s command and with it came the taking of seats and the steepling of fingers.

“So, what is it that you actually know how to do so far? Force-related-thing-stuffs, I mean.”

[member="Ameli Trahir"]

"I like the sound of that. Everything sounds good." Ameli replied with a little smile. It wasn't that she hungered for power, or other such cravings as seemed to be the foremost concern of other Sith. Yet, she was eager to learn, to be taught the Force from a tutor she actually liked. She imagined Sena would be much better than whatever the Academy of Coruscant had to offer. Their methods and group sessions were not for her. She was a fine gem, requiring the more personal touch. Ameli had a feeling Sena could provide that.

The bartender questioning whether the two girls really should have another drink made Ameli laugh as well. The blonde's eyes seemed to suggest the same as Sena's words. Another drink? Absolutely, yes. The girl grabbed her drink, and moved with Sena to a recently freed up booth. She thought little of it, still not too aware of the many uses and limitations of the Force.

"Well..." she started, poking her chin with the top of the bottle as she tried to think. "I mean I... When people piss me off, I fling them into walls. Kind of happens more than you'd think." she said, taking a sip from her drink. Was there much else? "They've told me about stuff. Like how to lift things." Ameli added, pointing a finger that was quickly withdrawn, as she also remembered "I haven't actually done it yet though..." She was such a rookie. Or was she? Her powers were raw, and she acted when fueled by emotions, but she showed little control. "What kind of stuff do you do? And what should I know?" What exactly is everything?

[member=Sena Lassiter]

Sena almost blinked. She didn’t, but she almost did. For a moment it was endearing, part of her thought Ameli was yanking her leg but as more time drifted between the two the more it dawned on Sena that the girl wasn’t joking at all. There was no blinking or laughter, she withheld that well enough. In it’s place came an understanding nod. Sena had, after all, been new too. Perhaps it felt like a long time ago, but not all of them had ‘a long time ago’ when it came to the force.

“I see.” It was all Sena said for a good while as she contemplated what to do. “Here’s what we will do.”

Sena took a small chug of her drink before gently setting it down on the table again. The liquid swerved around in the container and with it Sena looked straight into the eyes of the initiate once more. It was weird, she had always set up these rules to herself about the importance acolytes like themselves had in the eyes of their masters, yet when it came down to it Sena found herself at a mental impasse. Did she betray her philosophy for the sake of the woman she idolized or did she stay true?

A second look at Ameli said it all.

Screw principles.

“You are going to lift this glass.” Sena said most determined to teach her friend how to do it. “Not with your hand, but with force. With your mind, force it to submit, make it do what you will it to do.”

Sena really tried to be as clear as she could. Her lazy finger placed itself on her chin and she furrowed her eyebrows. Eyes tracked along the surface of the table that the ale stood upon. Sena had to find a better way to explain what she meant. It was probably the real step number one, but she had never taught anyone anything before.

Except how to stab a man and get away with it.

A few hours ago.

“Right.” She started as her hands dropped by her side. “Concentrate on the glass in front of me. Feel it in your mind, imagine it, see it. You have done this before, no doubt, you just haven’t known about it until now.”

How did that even make sense?

“Dig in deep, feel the glass, feel yourself. Tear at the tendrils, focus your emotions and force the glas up from the table. You can do this, Ameli. I know you can.”

[member="Ameli Trahir"]

Ameli was looking at Sena with big, deer-like eyes, ready to suck in any knowledge she offered her. When she said 'here's what we will do', she almost bounced in her chair, but she tried to cover her excitement.

Ameli nodded, eyes saying 'ok' as she got told to lift the glass. Her hand stopped, half-way to the glass, when Sena pointed out that it was not supposed to be with her hand. Oh. She felt a bit silly. Ameli listened to Sena explaining the thought process, and how she should approach the Force Lift Glass move. Ameli was very determined not to let her down.

Ameli put Sena's words into action. Her eyes narrowed visibly, as she concentrated intensely on the glass in front of her. She let the glass become the sole occupation of her mind. Ameli was imagining a blank white wall, with nothing insight, save from the enlarged cup. The cup began to levitate. At least in her mind. In reality, it shaked a bit on the ground. Would it comply?

Sena believed in her. She could do this. The glass shook on the table, though none of the girls were touching it. Then, slowly, it levitated. It moved up above the table, but with a few inches. However, it landed down again shortly after Ameli had realized she'd pulled it off, and it had broken her focus. When she tried to do it again, she just couldn't. It made her angry, frustrated. It was a basic thing, right? And here she was, wanting to show off in front of Sena, but not even able to lift a cup. It was fething intolerable.

There was no other way this was gonna play out, than Ameli making that glass levitate above the table. No fething way. Adding an increased determination, concentration, with a more-than modest amount of frustration, she made another attempt. This time, the cup responded, and it responded quick. It shot up into the air, as if a weapon hurled at an opponent. It would've crashed straight into the roof, if not for it exploding mid-air, shattering the cup and sending bits and pieces flying everywhere, as well as raining down on the two girls. There was power, but no control.

With hands above her head for cover, while half-ducking down and to the side, the blonde uttered a little "Sorry!"

[member="Darth Drethi"]

The glass shook. The excitement in Sena’s eyes practically radiated off of her in spades as Ameli was taking her first few steps down a road to something greater than she probably even knew. At least that was if Sena went by her own memories of what it was like the first few times she learned to truly utilize and see her own actions with the force.

However, she had never done what Ameli just did.

The glass went flying before shattering. A few people around the club gasped in surprise. So did Sena, but it was not for the same reasons as them. Her eyes had followed the glass excitedly even as it launched for the skies only to be met with the disheartening sensation of shock as the shimmering gold-colored liquids within the canister had departed their exploding shell of a container. They ran down her face and down the front half of his entire outfit.

Clothes clinged and eyes blinked as a Sena lowered her head with a face that screamed of an impending rage break, but it didn’t last. Her eyes set on the innocent-looking blonde in front of her and just like that the foul mood was gone again and in it’s place: laughter.

“It’s okay.” Sena laughed it up. “You should have seen your face.”

A deep inhale followed by a quick exhale and Sena was back on track again.

“No, try again but this time try to focus some more. You willed it to move, but it did not move like you truly wanted it to.” Sena pointed to Ameli’s drink. “You still have your own drink. Repeat the same exercise as before but truly focus on the matter. Set up goals for that glass of yours or you too will be drenched in beer.”

“... And we just got that dress, remember that.”

Sena smiled despite knowing she was going far too soft, but what was she gonna do about it? Nothing, that’s what.

[member="Ameli Trahir"]

Immediately, Ameli looked around to see if anyone were looking at them. A few had turned to check out what was going on, but no looks seemed to linger. Convenient. As was usually the case with these things, their attentions only snapped from their self-centred perception of reality to their surrounding when something unexpected happened. That was the point when the cup shattered, and by then, their near-drunk senses were already too late. It had already happened.

Next, Ameli's apologetic eyes moved up to look at Sena. Was she gonna be ma-oh feth, she was mad. But only for a moment. Was it the puppy eyes, expertly displayed by the blonde that had averted the disaster? Despite a wet face and a near-drenched top, Sena was fine. She even joked. Ameli was able to relax, the tension easing up for a moment. Then she laughed. Nervously at first. Then uncontrollably.

"Your... Your..!" she could barely get a word out. There was clearly something she was finding extremely funny. "Your face" tears started forming around the corners of her eyes. She wasn't mocking the other girl, merely enjoying herself. "Now you-" another giggle-fit became the break within the sentence "are the one" pause "who have to change!" She didn't know why, but that normally seemed to be the case with this fits. The reason was unimportant, the fact was that she couldn't stop laughing. Earlier that night, Ameli's dress had been absolutely drenched in blood. She had had to change. Now, Sena was the one with an outfit in need of change. Luckily, considering how publicly they were situated, the cause wasn't blood this time.

"We really can't go anywhere without turning into messes" she said, as finally the laughter started calming down. They had not known each other before this night, but already, they were forging signature stories and inside jokes. This was a night to remember, for sure. From the bloody mess, to the teary-make-up mess, to this. Those two girls just couldn't seem to stay dry around each other.

Finally, they could returned to business, as Sena became serious again. It demanded some focus from her, but Ameli too was getting her mind back in the game. She would make this happen. It would be perfect and it would be now. She closed her eyes for this one. Ameli was tempted to chug what was left of her drink to save herself the risk of getting wet too. But she didn't play with risk of failure. Ameli didn't fail. Of course it would work. "Okay! I can do this." No problem.

The glass was going to levitate, and it was going to kriffing like it. Wait, glass couldn't feel-FOCUS ON THE TASK AMELI. Okay, she realized she was way too easily distracted. But after some long consideration, calming herself down, she started. Ameli had probably sat there in absolute silence and concentration for a couple of minutes now. Then, the glass stirred. Gently. Then, calmly, it levitated above the table. Ameli's focus didn't break. She didn't laugh, she didn't cheer. She merely made the glass levitate. This one moment of the night was the one she chose to be serious. She may be a neophyte, but she had potential, if only she had someone who her taught her how to harness it.

Good thing Ameli had Sena. Ameli had Sena. Nothing was going to take that away. Would Sena be proud of her? Even though the table next to them was growing quite loud, Ameli's eyes were still shut. Like a stone. Unaffected. Their cheers of "Gratulerer med dagen!!" did not faze her. Ameli was busy trying to impress her friend.

It was the weirdest night of Sena’s life. From meeting an unsuspecting blonde in a club, getting drugged, being approached by the man who had drugged them, killing the man who drugged them, buying new clothes, going to a club and then finding themselves wrapped into each other’s worlds as if they had known one another for longer than a few hours at max. Some might have argued the speed of things was too damn fast but what would they know about the thing Sena and Ameli shared? If there was chemistry there was chemistry and Sena would have been a fool to not go through with it.

Besides, it had paid off hadn’t it?

She let the other woman laugh it up as well. The sting of embarrassment was still there and so was the slightest of urges to kill whatever else that was in Sena’s sight. The soggy clothes hugged her skin as she leaned over the table in an ashamed manner. Her arms crossed along the metal encased granite table and a shiver ran down her spine. Ameli was going to try again and Ameli was going to get it right.

A look of minor excitement was hidden underneath the sullen face that the young Vahla adapted but it was a feeling of excitement that only grew as the other woman truly focused. Sena could feel it. She could sense that swerve of emotion soaring through the air but more than that, she could see it.

The glass took to flying as the table next to them seemed to cheer for a happy birthday, all for Ameli.

And a happy time for revelations it was indeed.

‘Open your eyes, slowly.’ The message touched Ameli’s mind with the utmost care not to break her concentration. ‘There is something you need to see.’

Because what wanted to show Ameli was not just the bottle hovering. It was the first step down a road to something greater. An undertaking that Sena took upon herself to carry out with joy. Today bottle, tomorrow lightsabers, the day after that force choking.

Oh yes, Sena was already building her student a schedule.

An intense one that she better follow.

But for now they would continue to let the drinks pour. The severity of the morning after was part of the lesson.
