CORPORATION INFORMATION

Corporation Name: Junker’s Infralogistics and Foods Ltd

Headquarters: JIF is based on Rutan

Locations: One factory and conjoint office in Testa City

Operations:
  • Distribution
  • Food packaging
  • Snack production
Tier: Tier 2

DESCRIPTION
JIF Ltd began as little more than a number of city street vendors across a couple of First Order border worlds pooling resources to cut out the middleman of distribution by starting their own packaging and warehouse facility. Over a decade of consistent quality standard had resulted into expanding into a growing warehouse and even more vendors joining in a soft franchise. Eventually the bosses realized it was easier to simply focus on distribution themselves, thus they halted production of their various lines of food stuffs and began to lease space to competitors while maintaining a minimal food processing center to maintain ownership of various patented snacks. A little fish had become just another cog in vast machine of corporate mid tier middlemen. This status quo was maintained for a few years with marginally increasing profits. . .

RATIONALE
. . . Until a crackdown upon standards from the government nitpicked the factory with a number of infractions and violations. Worse yet, a number of the workers were harmed in a series of unfortunate accidents which resulted in a massive settlement draining the coffers of the warehouse. Devalued and now struggling to reach the black, the owners decided to put up the factory for sale. In swooped a First Order noblewoman eager to buy up the business. Using subordinates on her behalf, a deal was cut and proof of ownership was transferred the noble’s estate. Leila von Junkerwitz, the noblewoman in question, promptly discharged every previous worker of the company, procured a Ltd (or Limited Liability status) and now the building has remained abandoned for the better part of a financial quarter.
