Keepin Corellia Weird
So, it still needs a name, and an alchemist to help create it (so the leather part doesn't loose effect). I have debated about other effects being added to the garment, but have thus far decided against it in favor of simple robes befitting a man with no frills, but here is the idea thus far:

Intent: Personal robes/'armor' for Julius Sedaire
Development Thread: If Needed
Manufacturer: ________
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Personal
Modularity: Not to the garment itself. Cloaks or other things can be put on/over it, but would impede movement.
Production: Production: Unique
Material: Glistaweb (under layer), Tikulini Leather (outer layer and 'bracers')
Classification: Anti-Blaster, Anti-Lightsaber, Mild Resistace to Kinetic/Melee damage
Weight: 7kg
Quality: 5 on the Glistaweb. 6 on the Tikulini parts.
Special Features:
Description:
- Glistaweb provides anti-blaster/blaster reflection over almost entire body excepting hands and feet and face.
- Tikulini leather potions provide full lightsaber resistance and protection, though not against any kinetic damage from the garment, and repeated strikes will eventually 'cook' the wearer via the heat of the blade.
Over the years, Julius has tried on many hats, and that features mostly metaphorically. In reality, he has tried every form of armor made to man that he can think of, even at one time owning a durasteel forged suit of mandalorian armor in his time on the Outer Rim running with smugglers.
However, none of the suits he tried truly fit his needs. Whilst every one of them, including his very favorite, the VT Vanguard armor, offered superb protection in one form or another, they always seemed to hinder his ability to effectively fight, by weight, by sheer dimensional encumbrance, lack of flexibility, or a myriad of other sources of conflict.
In the end, the decision was made to askew the heavier armors in favor of something hearkening back to the original robes of the Order he served in under the Republic. Though stylistically they departed from those traditional garments quite heavily in certain aspects, the aesthetic that echoed throughout the new garment was undeniable in its source and inspiration.
A sort of hakama would cover the lower legs, made of glistaweb secured through various trade negotiations, resulting in a bottom covering of a garment that actually reflected blasterifre, one of the most common enemies of a Jedi on the front lines. Alchemical reagents were applied to the hakama and the under tunic, resulting in a mild increase in toughness such to the point a stray strike or two, or a singular focused blow, would not at first rupture the fabric, though any more than one would, and the treatment did nothing to cushion against the considerable kinetic force any such blows would have.
The outer layers were wrapped and staggered, made of alchemically treated tikulini leather to retain the lightsaber repellent properties of the hide. These sections covered the torso in a layered vest that flare at the shoulders and neck in an effort to prevent any separation of limb or head from strikes at obvious weak points. A thicker, heavier belt of the same leather covered the waist to protect the vital organs therein, and twin braces of tikulinin leather went over the long glistaweb sleeves of the tunic to provide a sort of set of bracers with which to deflect and redirect incoming lightsaber strikes with.
Overall, the robes are not terribly protective, but result in an excellent compromise between mobility and defense, with the trusted Vanguard armor being the go-to for truly pitched war. This suit is styled such to reflect the culture of Atrisia, with the only flare or hint to his birth culture of Coreilia being a set of red piping down the leggings, rumored to be truly earned second-class bloodstripes, though Julian doesn't speak of the event that lead to them, and the glistaweb hakama keeps them mostly hidden.
