Julius Aing-Tii Hybrid Ship "The Free Spirit"

Right now, this is going to be mostly huge piles of notes, my apologies. It will grow exponentially in the next few hours I hope... Also, i'm CRAP at making ships, so... Advise, but be gentle....

The Wanderlust

Affiliation: Personal
Manufacturer: Aing-Tii Monks, Julius Sedaire
Model: Aing-Tii 'Phariseidem'(lesser version of Sandhedrim Ships)
Modularity: Yes (but not without great difficulty & dev)
Production: Unique
Material: Unknown Aing-Tii Materials, Common Starship Components & Materials (OOCly the same properties as Durasteel & Alusteel for Aing-Tii Materials)

Classification: Picket Corvette
Length: 80m
Height: 20m
Width: 30m

Armament:
Rating: 6
Defenses: 6
Hangar: Enough for 1x Shuttle or Starfighter, and 2x Speeder Bikes or 1x Speeder Car. No more.
Special Features:

  • Precision Fold-Drive: An adaptation of the malfunctioning Dha'karbakar Hyperdrive of the Turhaya and the systems of the prototype Aing-Tii ship resulted in a unique, if dangerous ability. If the pilot of this ship knew the secrets to the ability to Fold-Space, as taught by the Aing-Tii, then he or she could utilize a lesser form of the Aing-Tii's wondrous ability to teleport across the Galaxy itself. If a pilot had the requisite ability, the time in the chair to learn the interface, and a visual line of sight within a hundred thousand meters, they could teleport the ship instantly to that point. This carried many inherent risks, such as something like a rock or debris drifting across the destination and appearing inside a critical component of the ship, fluctuating gravitational forces when near large enough bodies, extreme concentration and focus required to make the ability work, etc..

Note: This is comparable to a standard precision microjump, and cannot be used for distances over 100,000 meters. It represents a heavily watered-down version of standard canon Aing-Tii travel technology.
  • Null-Burst Projectors: These are miniaturized and less devastating versions of these weapons, which could bypass shields and armor, but did no physical damage to the ship, instead effecting the crew within from stunning and jarring/shaking up to rendering unconscious or incapacitated from duty. Due to the decreased size and the Aing-Tii not willing to impart all their capabilities to Julius/Glavo, sacrifices had to be made, and so they are not as potent. (OOCly the weapon functions like a Hushaby Rotary Ion Cannon)
  • Energy Web Generators: Standard fare, these weapons are just as devastating as their full sized and powered counterparts on the Sanhedrim ships of the Monks themselves. Use primarily to help disable and render helpless slaver ships in the Kathol Outback, they function largely like an Ion-Cannon Burst, but obviously with power and devastation scaled to a logical level for the size of the ship.
  • 2x Ori'beskaryc 'Little Red' Escape Pod
  • Ret'lini-class S-thread booster
  • Kol Mark IV Navicomputer
  • Modified Dha'karbakar Hyperdrive
  • Standard Shield System
  • Standard Sensors Array
  • Encrypted Communications Array
  • Advanced Targeting System
  • Computer controlled firing package for turrets
  • Standard Life Support System
Manoeuvrability Rating: 6
Speed Rating: 6
Hyperdrive Class: 1

  • Secondary: Class 10
Strengths:
  • Precision Fold-Drive
  • Null-Burst Projectors
  • Energy Web Generators
  • Ambush Ability
Weaknesses:
  • Size
  • Light Armament
  • Light Defense
  • Difficulty in Piloting
  • Power Fluctuations - A standard issue with the YT series. The ship tends to do a lot, which results in power issues, even with it's merged nature.
Description:
Development Thread: If Needed
Intent: A personal Ship for Julius Sedaire/Glavo Pahro as a memorial of his time with the Aing-Tii.
Who Can Use This: Julius Sedaire/Glavo Pahro
Primary Source:

NOTES:
[12:04:16 PM] Remy: _________ gave me the idea of having a vessel gifted or thrown together. Hyrbidized or watered down version of their tech along with the suped-up YT-2400 I wrecked in the thread, with all sorts of special Rekali and Silk and Iron Crown stuff
[12:04:23 PM] Remy: But... I have no idea hows make a ship
[12:04:39 PM] Waid: soo... teleporting ship?
[12:04:54 PM] Remy: Roughly, if that won't break the game
[12:05:35 PM] Remy: I'm ok with it not being instantly, but a stupid fast hyperjump/moderatelty slow teleport and some exotic weapons (Jon has used null-burst projectors before in SWRP) and I'm good
[12:07:24 PM] Waid: Precision Hyperdrive.
[12:07:34 PM] Waid: lets you "hop" about in a battle.
[12:08:01 PM] Remy: Short, quick jumps in battle of X meters/within visual range?
[12:10:02 PM] Remy: that would keep the thematics, especially for someone who has minor fold-space abilities
[12:10:51 PM] Waid: Yup.
[12:10:57 PM] Waid: Canon as poodoo.
[12:11:08 PM] Waid: The Victory III and Alor can do it.
My idea is a sort of millenium falcon, with maybe a bit more bite, with Aing-Tii Thematics. It can be a little less fast and manuevrable, but for general idea... It is basically a ship he uses to support/run with the Aing-Tii and their sanhedrim against slavers

Okay, Imma try my best with this. I'm gonna cover down the basics, but the teleportation is something that I have no knowledge of.

  • Production: Unique
  • Materials
    Alusteel
  • Durasteel (is that for the Unknown Aing-Tii material?)
  • Glasteel

[*]Might wanna add some links of the defenses you're using, bro
[*]Maybe a weakness would be the lack of turbolasers and such?
[*]Size looks fine.
[*]Another weakness would be no hangar
[*]Gonna need a model name, man. Every sub needs one.
And I think that's all my notes. I'm quite adapt to ships, but I'm sure Jorus will have better notes than me. :D

This is a really sick ship.

You're going to have some difficulty with the Aing-Tii precision fold-drive unless you're extremely thorough in framing it as a drastically reduced and watered-down bit of canon (Aing-Tii interstellar travel) that's directly equivalent to other canon things (precision hyperdrives). Even then, odds of getting it through aren't high.

I find plainness is best. 'This is comparable to a standard precision microjump, and cannot be used for distances over X. It represents a heavily watered-down version of standard canon Aing-Tii travel technology." You know, something like that.
